Hi I don't do vinyl but for the carpet installation I charge $4.00 sq yard .It's just for the installation.not include other things like old carpet removing and dumping the garbage. Approximately $ 622.

Hi,

Vinyl installation only (all materials by you): 1.69$ sq.ft

Carpet if it is glue down: 0.60$ sq.ft. Glue inlcuded

Carpet stretched with under pad: 0.75$ sq.ft.

It varies in location. In BC, you'll be spending between $3600-$4200 plus 5% tax for vinyl labour.

You are looking at anywhere from $3.50 to $6 / sq ft.

Any other collateral damage work will be quoted on site.

For an accurate price, I would need to know how much is carpet and how much is vinyl. The cost of each varies. Looks like $4/yard for carpet (We don't install carpet, but looking at previous comments that seems to be the going rate) and $1.75/ sq ft for floating floors. If there's a stair down to another level, that would add a small cost to the project. Any trim or demo would be extra.
