For all and stain looking at 650 plus tax u getting materials 2 day process

Hello,

Refinishing means sanding and staining an existing hardwood staircase. In your case, the staircase is covered with carpet. That means there is no hardwood. So this wouldn't be called refinishing. Changing carpet to hardwood is somewhat more lengthy work and would be more difficult estimate without seeing the job.

Factors that affect cost;

-Type of steps;

-Closed steps (These are steps where on both sides you have walls)

-One side open (One side is against the wall and the other side is open)

-Both sides open

-The length of the steps
