Cost to build detached garage?

Hi,
I'm thinking to get a 12X20 single care detached garage (with concreate pad) built at my residence. Without going into details regarding the garage (siding, roofing, etc), as I know the price fluctuates based on my choices. Just want to get a general idea of the ballpark cost it would take to get something like this done.

Hi,
We would do it for around $20,000 plus taxes (construction cost only).
Please keep in mind that you may need to apply for building permit since you are adding to your house footprint. Architctural and engineering cost for such a project to get building permit would be around $4,000 plus taxes.

Depending on you finishing's, you are looking from a low end of 20,000.00 up to 30,000.00.
And yes you will need your drawing and engineers report to put foreword and application to build the addition.

The cost for a garage in Toronto is on average $100.00 per. sq. ft., footing. concrete pad, drawings and permits are extra.
