Cost to install wood flooring

We would like to remove the carpeting that we have in 3 of our Bedrooms and install hard wood flooring. What would the cost be for the Installation alone?
I would buy the flooring strips. 3/4 inch thick ones not the thin floating floors. Approx 450 sq feet which includes some of the hall way.

For any warranty issues Lynn, I would go thru a supplier who can also do the installation. If you supply & get someone else to install & there are problems later, you'll be on your own.

Hello Lynn,
Depending on the difficulty level you can budget $3.50 to $5.00 a sqft to install. This normally does not include any trim or removal of any existing flooring.
