I am building a 24x24 garage and I am looking now at my doors and window.
I would like some help with choosing a good quality door ( 36" man door) and window, some pricing ranges as well as locations. Also some websites I can browse and possibly order from.
I am in airdrie alberta.
Paul,
I'd suggest just talking with the people at Home Depot, Rona Home Hardware, etc.. You can get some fairly basic windows, that are from reputable companies, through any of these retail outlets. The quality depends on you. I'd suggest at least double pane, vinyl, at least one window should open, door should be steel insulated with know lock and deadbolt.
All weather windows, or any major supplier can assist with your choice. If you plan to use the garage as a shop, consider the window quality and the size ... as you may desire more natural light.
Hope this helps.
Hi Paul,
Plygem & Jeld-Wen are two quality suppliers you can readily get product from.
An insulated steel door & either PVC or metal clad wood frame window(48"x48") should run you
~$500-$700. Both are easily found online.
