How much for a simple basement renovation?

I'm looking for a professional estimate of a 900 sqft basement. It's a 1955 home, and it's very outdated. So I'm looking to: remove the wood paneling and replace with simple dry wall + paint, dry wall the ceiling with pot lights, make the half bath into a full bath but maybe IKEA grade, and cheap carpet throughout the basement. Any ideas how much this would cost?

Hi your roughly looking at $22,500-$28,000 all depends on what type of finishings you want. The higher end finishings you will be the more money it cost to complete.

With everything you mentioned, you are looking at $40,000. Permit, Materials and labours included.

Hi Dear,
I would estimate based on your description of the job 3K demo & disposal, 9k for drywall, 2K for lighting, 8K for bathroom, 3k for carpet. I would estimate a budget of $25K for this project. With unknown variables such as plumbing and electrical works TBD.

Without seeing the actual space and any obstacles, I'd budget around $40-45 a square foot ($36K-40K).
