How much to paint 3 rooms?

If they are simple 10x10 bedrooms, $400 including paint.

Anywhere from $900.00 to $1800.00 plus tax depending on what all is getting painted. Just walls, or ceilings and trim too? Also, the brand of paint can drastically affect the price.

Most professional painting companies will prefer to give you an estimate in person so they can look at the job directly. A painter never knows what they may run into until they look at the job with their own eyes. Perhaps the old wall paint is oil requiring extra work, or there is significant damage (cracks) or other repairs that require new drywall or a fiber tape repair.

Painters giving you a cheap price (such as $400) ought to be considered with extreme caution. Get a painter to come out and give you a quote in person, this way you can find out who you are entrusting with the work and get a clear idea of exactly what you are going to get from them. (Are you getting one coat or two?) Some colors require three coats... are you having your baseboards and doors/trim painted? So many variables in a painting project.

As Daniel has stated, there are many factors to consider when it comes to painting. What condition are the walls in? What type of paint is on wall now? Is there a color change? How many different colors are being used? What type of paint do you want to use? The price can range from $900 to $2500. A professional painter will always do an on site visit for a more accurate quote.

I would charge $800 for all 3 rooms.

Walls, ceilings and trim. Paint included.

Any repairs to walls are extra.
