800 square foot basement. Drywall done. Just checking to see how much it would roughly cost if we paid someone to come in and do the mudding and taping?
I'm from Hamilton and the best prices you get out here are .50 - .60 cents to tape so 800 x .50 is 400$ or 800 x .60 is 480$ but that is all based off the total drywall up being 800 sq ft. Remember floor space is different then walls and ceiling footage combined.
Glad I could help you out!

Hi, Drywall Taping Labor, Basic .
Basic Labor to Tape Drywall joints with favorable site conditions, Starts at $ 0,98-$1,35 per linear feet.
Actual costs will depend on job size , Conditions size options.
Cover joints and Screw heads with mud.
Embed tape in joint mud .
Lightly sand and remind joints 2x Final sand for Primer/finish Ready.
Includes Planning equipment and material acquisition, area preparation and protection, set up and cleanup .+ Cost of Related materials and Suppliers typically Required to tape drywall joints including fasteners , Seam tape, a side Corner beads and tapping Compound.
800 squire feet probably means floor space.......so multiply by at least 4.....gives you at least 3200 sq. ft. of drywall.
Now add-in bulkheads/corner beads, etc.and you are probably looking at approx. $1.00 per sq. ft..........$3,200.00......in total
How good is the boarding job ?
Pre-fill, tape and at least 2 coats to finish......then sand and touch-up.
Hope this helps.
