Hi,

The fact that my mother was a respected interior designer for over 30 years. And I handle design on a fair number of my renovations and additions completed for clients by my construction company.

I would be looking for about6,000.00 for the design portion of the contract.

It really depends on the scope of work/ services. A lot of times it is per hour if the scope cannot be clearly defined. Otherwise it can be a fixed price based on a fixed scope or a percentage of the interior design budget.

Lastly it depends on who you hire to do it. Some will be extremely expensive & others less so. I will let them tell you why.

Hi there. Depending on the scope of work you can expect somewhere between $3000-$8000. The hourly charge stated above is correct as well. If it is a small portion you can expect to be charged hourly at $120-$150 per hour.
