Labor costs for wood wall framing, hanging drywall, taping?

It really depends on how size of your basement. I would say about 2/3 of your cost will be labour. Drywall and taping is very labour intensive compaired to material cost.

Some things that will drive up your cost:

1.High ceilings

2.Painted flat ceilings instead of textured.

3.fire rating needed in places such as a secondary suite.

4. Partitions. The more partitions and bulk heads you have, the price will increase.

There are many factors that would help in giving an accurate cost for this.

How many linear feet for framing ?

How many board feet for drywall?

How tall are the ceilings?
