Markup on Costs for a home renovation in Toronto

Hello,
Really a general type question, but here goes...
I would imagine it varies greatly, but generally what would be a mark-up to costs charged by a home renovation contractor in the Danforth area in Toronto? For example, if costs are approximately $450K (materials, permits, etc.), what would be the typical mark-up (including labour).
Would $565K be within a reasonable charge? (i.e., 20% to 25%).

There is no typical markup, and I don't think you'll find anybody to tell you the truth either, retailers would never tell you there profit margin.
Take wood flooring for example the labour is usually the same but the materials can cost from $3- $8 a foot and beyond.

yes I think it,s reasonable price including labor charge..

I totally agree with James. It's all depends on you because you are the selector of materials to be used.
