The cost depends on many things. Number of stairs and type of railing that you choose. There are many types of railings and prices vary.

This is will cost you some how between $3000 - $4000, depending on what type of railing, spindles, prices are vary?

Hi guys,

We are not looking to replace the railings. Just stain it darker and do oak for the steps. I have not moved in the house yet so don't know how many steps there are but if you can give us an estimate of how much per step would be much appreciate it.

This can cost you up to $5500.00 depends on the number of steps and the size of railing that you wish to re-stain with a different color.

The stairs, risers and stringers alone would cost about $3500-$4000 all in.

Railings are varied in price depending on the style you choose.
