Hi There,

I am wondering what is the going rate for an electrician to come to my house?

My dryer isn't working, my husband thinks is the dryer plug. Our dryer has its own fuse box, and it keeps shorting the fuse when we turn it on.

Most companies charge $70 to $110 per hour with a minimum charge out fee.

The best advice is to call some electrical contractors in your area and ask them.

Rates vary between province, region, city and between companies in the same city.
