How much would it cost to replace the gas fireplace in my wall with a window?

Thank you,

Hi Abby,

If you have a strata check with them prior to making this alteration. If you live in a high rise or low rise, it may change the exterior appearance at this panel. Im assuming the fire place is installed in a low rise or high rise.

Assuming the flooring is in tact below the fireplace, the gas line can be left stubbed out of the wall, and a blank panel can be installed to hide the power junction, I would need to remove the fireplace, patch any surrounding walls, and replace the window only. Im assuming the frame would be in tact.

The approximate cost would be $2,800.00.

Let me know if you need more info.

The cost is relative to the size of the fire place and your choice of window.
