I can't tell you the Toronto area pricing but I would suggest that you go into a construction area and approach a few of the framers on site. I'm sure they would be glad to advise you. I know I would be only too glad to help out a new comer into the trade.

If you're not successful with that approach then try approaching framers and suggest that you are looking for a framing crew for a project of yours and you need some pricing.

Professional framing crews charge from $12 sqft these days, they employ at least 2 journeyman carpenters, a apprentice & at least 1 labourer. A 4 man crew can usually frame a 2500 sqft 2 storey house in 72-80hrs.. you have to supply all your own fasteners in most contracts, lumber is supplied by developer.. anything less right now and I would not start your truck
