Hello,

Questions for 600 sf apartment, wood structure with concrete floor.

I was wondering the cost in Vancouver to:

1. rip out 4 old baseboard heating (water heater, not electronic) and change to in floor hydronic radiant heat

(also, how long does it take? Is it possible?)

2. skim coat ceiling

3. plaster crown molding

Thanks very much!!

Hi Natsuko, Your questions are too specific and have too many unknowns to give you any kind of accurate answers.

If you are actually planning or want to do these projects, you should put them in the "post your projects" section so you can get some local contractors to have a look and tell you if it is even doable and give you some accurate pricing. It might also be a good idea to check with the landlord as what you do may have an effect on other tenants.

I think this section is more for price ranges and "ish" pricing for budgeting purposes.

In general, everything is doable, it is just a matter of whether the costs outweigh the benefits - that is your decision.

Good Luck with it!
