What is the approximate cost of building a room over a garage?

Without seeing the project, no one can give you a figure that means anything,.

And describe what you want up there.

Just a room for Office space.......a bed room?........Bathroom area as well?

Give me some information and I will be happy to run some figures by you.

Sorry I didn't post pics I will now. Possibly a bathroom if price is right. I want closets and bathroom and sitting area in this space.

Hi Tina,

I am assuming it is about 400 sq'. And a staircase will run from the back of the garage from a room inside the existing structure up to the new loft area. With a bathroom, and with large windows front and rear you are looking at a range from 25,700.00 to 31,000.00 depending on stair material, flooring, type of insulation and construction, electrical desires, bathroom fixtures and construction, access to the existing plumbing in the house. The list goes on. But this gives you a range.
