Hi,
I have a hwt that is not wired to hydro meter. Could you please provide a quote for rewiring this hwt. Hydro requires an invoice from a licensed electrician confirming that the hot water tank is now wired through the meter.

We would like to replace the light fixture above our kitchen island. Currently we have a stipple ceiling, and a wooden box with flourescent light fixtures in it that drops down about 8 inches. It is 50" x 32" We were thinking of removing the box,, placing a stainless steel plate over the area and hanging a fixtue from it. We are also open to new ideas.
We are also considering paint the entire interior of the house.
I am redoing my kitchen and need someone experienced with electrical to relocate a couple outlets and a light switch. There will drywall repair and new drywall, I also need a little plumbing to hook up the water to the fridge. I would also like to replace a couple lights in the basement that stopped working.
Hello need to hire a licenced electrician by the city of winnipeg to inspect a replacement main box. Rigth now I have a 100 amp box wants to install a 200 amp box for a electrical furnace.
Have all the material
I do not have service, the electrician will have to get the permit and service back on the house.
I own a 4-plex in Osborne Village. A little while ago, one of the electrical circuits went dead. Obviously, my first response was to check the circuit breaker, but nothing appears to have been tripped. I have reset the entire panel many times just in case, but the result is the same. I am hoping/guessing this is likely something minor, but I do not have the expertise to locate the problem myself. The circuit has one or two outlets in each of two suites.
We would like our present 100amp panel replaced with a 200amp panel. We also have a panel for an electric furnace and a splitter that needs to be removed (switching to natural gas end of September). We have 200 amps to the meter, conduit from the meter to the panel needs to be upgraded (distance is about 3'). Plywood the present panel is connected to also needs to be replaced (presently mounted on 1/4" plywood)

4) install a new or additional electrical sub panel
5) potentially rewrite house. 2 stories plus basement. 1 kitchen, 2 bath, 3 bedroom, living room, dining room.

Hi,
Looking to replace old lighting in the kitchen over the island and in both upper bathrooms. Wooden boxes around the lighting probably need to go, although we are open to innovative ideas.
There are pictures of the lights the need to go and an example of what we want in the kitchen over the island as well.
Here's the plan:
1. Replace existing 100A panel (and 60A subpanel) in house (see attached pic) with 200A panel
2. Trench and run wire underground from house to garage (approx 30')
3. Install 60A panel in garage (possibly recycle old subpanel from house)
4. Install interior/exterior wiring, lights, plugs in garage
5. (maybe) Trench and run cable underground from house panel to hot tub location (approx 15')
I have the new panels and breakers but would need wire/boxes/plugs for garage interior/exterior and wire for the garage/hot tub runs.
Currently power comes off the pole to a mast on the house. I believe my service is certified for 200A.
I don't own a trencher, but could rent one. I was going to DIY this but with DIY permits on hold til covid's over, so I need a pro to help with this.
I am looking to get an idea of what it would take to re-wire part, or all of my kitchen.
The biggest concern is that the following are all on one circuit: dishwasher, 2 counter outlets, refrigerator - and I am constantly tripping the breaker.
It is a galley kitchen with the electrical panel, dishwasher and counter outlets on one side, and the fridge on the other side. The panel is original (1970's) and has lots of room left in it.
Due to the age, the wiring is all aluminum currently. This is in a condo unit.
Online estimates only please.
I am looking to upgrade from 60 amp breaker box to 100 amp service. Please provide the following information in your response and advise if you require a visit to my home to provide a written estimate. My home is just under 900 sq ft and was built in 1957. The breaker box is in the basement in the back of the house.

5. Can you offer a Certificate of Inspection (I want copies)
6. Can you provide references?
7. Will you provide a written cost estimate of the work?

9. What does the estimate include? Will there be any repairs required after the work is done?
10. Who will perform the work?
11. What is the hourly rates for different qualifications (master electrician vs. journeyman/apprentice, or any combination of workers)
12. What are your guarantees and warranties?
13. May I see work in progress?
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon!

One of the breakers on my panel has been "stuck" for a while. I got around to looking up details on how to replace the breaker, and lo and behold, the panel is a Federal Pacific Stab-loc and I'm reading a lot about the poor reputation of this brand and how it's been known to cause fires.
I am looking for a licensed electrician to replace my FP Stab-loc electrical panel with a safe, modern panel. I'm assuming a permit will be required as part of the work. I believe the current panel is a 100 amp. I may be interested in upgrading to 150 or 200 depending on the cost.
In the initial planning stages. Looking to upgrade the electrical in a bungalow, approx 800 sq ft, built around 1910. I believe I'm looking to upgrade to 100 amp (I'm told that's the new standard) but let me know if that is inaccurate. Looking for an estimate on both price and timeframe for completion. Thank you.
