I am looking for a builder to come in and take down our existing fence and remove content and build a new 6 foot fence in the same area as the existing fence with the exception of adding some additional fencing to close off the fence on the side of our house just off the deck, which currently does not have any fence, this would require a 4 or 5 foot fence with gate for access to the back of the property. There are brick pilasters that will need to be fixed as they are about 30 years old and need some repair. This fence was built by the builder about 30 years ago. At this time we are looking for quotes that include good quality lumber and parts as well as the cost for labour.
Thanks
Maria
Fence is 134 feet with 2 small gate and 1 big removable gate. lowest quote thus far is 2800 included labour and materials. Looking to get this project complete as soon as possible. Still looking to get my fence rebuild, if there is any reasonable contractors left out there call Geneen. I have already removed the old fence.
I need half of my fence redone and would like quotations on the following:
1) Quotation to do just the posts (I will provide lumber)
2) Quotation for the labor to do the entire fence
3) Quotation to supply the lumber and the labor to do the entire fence
Give me call and arrange for a time to do an on site estimate, I am home most days.
Old fence blew down. I need the old fence completely taken down and replaced with new cedar fence. 72 feet in a straight line, no gate, 6ft high, preferably 5/4x6 boards but please also quote 1x6x6. 4x4 posts and 3 2x4 rails to match other side of house. I will salvage old wood so nothing to haul away. The project is in Charleswood.
Hi, I am looking for some free estimates on a chain link fence (very small yard) for a modular home I purchased at the Downs Village (Winnipeg, MB)
There currently no fencing in place and I require one so that I can provide some freedom for my dog without having to take him for a walk every time he needs to go potty. I would also like to be able to have him outside with me.
I am not exactly sure of the measurements, only that it's a small trailer lot. I can meet you at the lot to view the property so that you can provide a good estimate.
Thanks.
I am looking to get a dog run installed to run along an exisiting fence line.Need a chain link dog run, grass removed and replaced with gravel.
- 54 feet long, runs parralel to exisiting fence line, and connects on 3 sides (meaing I only need 1 fence line created).
- 4 feet high
- 4 feet wide
- chain link roof
- 1 gate
- Landscaping material put down on grass, chicken wire on top of material (to prevent digging) and wood chips on top of wire.
- 2x6 planks along bottom of fence line to prevent digging and keep wood chips within.
Dog run is the first project, redoing the whole backyard is next step, so I prefer a good company with a good price, so I can keep that same company for both projects.
- We would like to raise the level of the yard, for better drainage, fill in spots where dog created trenches, and reseed. Build a small deck in 1 area as well.
Thanks
Please quote on building a fence at the back end of the property. We're going to demolish our shed and we need a fence built where the shed currently is located. The fence to be built will go from the existing fence to the garage. Please also comment on whether the existing fence is okay, needs repair, or needs replacement.
Thank you.
Katherine
Hi there, I just need to replace my old wooden fence within the next two weeks and don't have time to do it. It is a straight 90 feet fence, nothing fancy 3-4 feet tall. Can you tell me how much for wood and how much for chain link and how soon can you install?
Also, I need the old fence to be removed and taken away.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
We are looking to have a fence built in our backyard. We currently live in a newly developed neighbourhood and already have a back fence but do not have fence on either side of our yard. We would like 2 fences at 6ft (or higher), each measuring 50 feet in length, that include standard gates on each side.
Thank you
Back yard fence replacement - 50 foot wide lot
Fence style is Ranch style.
One gate, one seasonally removable section.
Remove existing posts, some metal braces anchored in concrete, and boards.
We will be keeping the removable section, to be used with new fence.
To be completed ASAP after the 2012 Spring thaw.
We have a home built in 1978 and a garage built in 1998 that both need stucco repair. We are not looking to have this done until the spring (2010) but would like to line up the work now,
We also would like to built a wood fence 5ft. high in the spring on a pie lot 200x70 this again would be contracted for the spring of 2010.
We have a wood slat fence that is now falling down and it needs to be completely removed and a new fence installed. We would like a combination of pressure-treated wood panels and chain-link fence. If possible, we would like an on-line estimate. Here are the approximate measurements:
2 wood panels with gates - 6 feet wide X 6 feet high
2 wood panels without gates - 6 feet wide X 6 feet high
2 sections of chain-link fence (6 feet high) approximately 100 running feet, with sliding gate for parking pad in the back.
I live in Winnipeg. I want to build a 1 1/2-foot concrete wall to rake the land and then construct a fence over it. I will require a small hidden door also.
Can you please tell me how much this project will cost me?
The size of the area where we want to build the fence is 61’.
Thanks,
Cody and Dipti.
Rebuilding lost portion of fence due to fire.
As our insurance company requires a few estimates within the next 2 days, when the actual job gets done is the later stage after authorization.
Build Details:
Total rebuild length 23' 2".
The fence will restart at an existing 4x4 post, then it had
2 qty 4x4 post and ends with 6x6 post (Only 6x6 is higher than fence at nearly at 8').
Boards are 1x6X6 brown treated lumber;
a 2x3 runs along top and another 2x3 runs approximately 1' off bottom boards.
I thank you for your interest.
Have a wonderful day.
Kindest Regards
Over the weekend a car hit my front fence knocking out 4 6x6 posts and demolishing the rest of the fence, all of which is currently scattered everywhere on my front lawn. The cost for the replacement will be paid for by MPI. They ask for 3 quotes.I would like quotes to replace the wooden fence as it was, or replacing it with a chain link fence. If the price is about the same, I don't see why MPI would not approve one over the other.
Thank you in advance for your estimate.
Birds Hill Park area, install fenced area for multi-dog household. One of the dogs is very large, energetic, and strong. We are looking for a fenced enclosure large enough for the dogs to run and play within. Our property is 3 acres in total, but we are wanting just a section in the back of our property to be fenced for the dogs.
We are wanting the fence installed asap, before the ground freezes.
The fencing materials needs to be strong enough to keep our lab/great dane inside the enclosure, but not cost a fortune... (Chain link, or possibly hog wire) 6-8 feet in height.
I am involved with our condo board and recently we've discussions about securing our building and parking lot.
The parking lot is 32 ft. wide. We require a pedestrian gate at the front and a sliding or other gate at the rear, partial fencing up the side and pedestrian gates on the opposite side.
Please feel free to contact me.

I just got a house and i want to fence the yard from the back all the way to the front. there is some grass/weeds in the back and then soil seems wet and a little porous. I'm thinking about putting gravel in the back so that we can park cars there. I also want a fence that we can put in a motor for remote operation when we need to (not right away).
Our backyard gate has not closed properly since we bought the house 3 years ago. It appears that the reason the gate isn't closing is due to the section of fence leaning/shifting, so my preference would be for you to correct that problem. However, if that isn't going to be possible or practical, I'm also open to simply cutting the necessary amount of wood off the gate and repositioning the hardware --- whichever makes the most sense once you look at it.
Approximately 50 foot of 5 foot high good neighbour fence 1 x 4 spruce pickets, 120 prepainted pickets supplied, remove existing fence and hand dig holes for new as
services are within 1 m for 20 feet of services. One 3 foot gate, two smaller 2 foot gates.
Remove and replace existing fence, new pickets to be primed only, pressure treated posts and rails to be unfinished painted by owner next year.
