Hi, I'm looking for someone to level and secure a small addition on the back of a small house, and to remove the chimney from my house as well. The chimney is exposed on the back of the house (outside), and is next to the addition that needs levelling. I have roofers waiting for the chimney to come down so they can patch the small area where the chimney is currently. I have a couple pictures I can send to anyone who is interested. I live in st James, and my budget is about $4,000.00.
A bedroom addition was added to the rear of our house by the previous owner. On one side, the ground is wearing away leaving space between the foundation of the addition and the ground. Can someone look at it and let me know why this is happening, what options I have in repairing it, and the costs associated.
Thanks,
Ryan
Our kitchen and dining area have sunk (back of house). We were recently flooded (sewer) and also found out water was coming in from the back basement wall (finished basement). I have cut the dry wall to discover rotten wood at the top of the foundation and believe this is the problem for the leaking. I need to fix the leaking problem and would like to raise the area that has sunken. The house is a two story split level built in 1979.
I have a 20' long wall which is leaking at the base with heavy rainfall. It would require excavation down to the footing (approximately 4 feet from ground level to footing) and waterproofing. The wall is also bowing so would need reinforcement and repair. The house is 80 years old. Not sure if weeping tile exists.

Thank you,

Our house was built in 1991. The parging on the foundation has been falling off and approx. 50% is missing. We bought the place in August and frankly, it looks ugly.
I am seeking a free estimate for this job. It is a 1250 square foot bungalow and all four sides need to be "parged". Some of it seems to be stuck on rather well but much of it can be taken off quite easily. I am also wanting to inquire about the warranty that would accompany this job. Inspection of this job would be preferred and a written quote and warranty would be expected.
Thanks!
Diane and Jerome
I have a home that had water leaking in the basement which resulted basement renovations (determined no structural repair inside) and some weeping tile repair done outside that determined foundation repair is required and that the wood was rotten between top of basement wall where the house is sitting on. I assume an engineer, inspector with permits is required. I've been advised I will require further excavating, to determine extent of damage, but that it appears it is limited to one corner of the house. I do have pictures from when it was exposed (see attached), but it has temporarily been closed up. while I am flexible in timeframe to complete, it would be a preference it be done sooner rather than later.
