Hi, I need to know how much it would cost, start to finish, to frame and pour a basement and get the men to do the work. The house will be a brand new ready-to-move home to be placed on the basement. Property is high and dry, east of Winnipeg, treed lot. We will do excavation and have a road to access lot. Dimensions of house are 31x50 feet / 1428 sq.ft.
Thanks for your time!
The size of the suite would be around 400 or 500 sq ft, would include a 4-piece bathroom and a kitchenette, and be constructed in accordance with any of the formats outlinedclick here this stage this project a purely speculative, b/c I am trying to get an idea of how much it might cost. I am looking for a very rough estimate in order to help me decide whether to proceed in this direction or look for alternatives.
This type of property is not very common in Winnipeg, so I am having trouble finding something like this for purchase. I was recently made aware that Manitoba government has a program that subsidises the cost of building a secondary suite:click here am now trying to decide whether the option of building is feasible for me, so I would like to get some rough quotes in order to help me make this decision. If the quotes combined with government subsidy are deemed affordable, this will turn into a real project.

I had a sunken living room. Had a house fire and redesigned the home with the master in place of the sunken living room. Long story short, builders took it upon themselves to build it up and charge me above what insurance was willing to pay. Need a quote now to see what it will cost to re-create the sunken area. Area is 14x12'. Will have other quotes too as rebuild was done terrible and in need of a lot of repairs.
