Looking for quality workmanship to complete the basement of our 12 year old home. Finished product will include 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom (already roughed in), 1 utility room, serviary area, and open concept living space with gas fireplace. Noise barrier to upstairs, and floor cold/moisture barrier.
Pretty clear concept of what we want to do but welcome any design suggestions.
I would like an exterior access door built into the gable end of my 1961 bungalow to make the attic more accessible for electrical, ventilation and insulation upgrades. The current access door meets minimum code but is located in a bedroom closet which makes access difficult and inconvenient.
I would like the exterior access door to be about 36” H X 32” W. The door can be prefabricated or built in place. It can be any suitable material as long as it is properly framed in, reasonably secure and weatherproof to protect the attic. The work may also involve relocating a furnace fresh air intake and properly sealing the old interior attic door.
This home is my fully-owned residence.
My landlord and I are searching for someone to install a garage door opener. The Garage door is already in place, we just need the electrical overhead bit to be installed. Can you help??? We need to purchase the overhead system but the door already is in place and can be opened and closed manually.
Estimate for the following: Use a come-along to bring north and south garage (10'x20') walls closer together since the walls bulge out about 3/4 " each side at the moment. Brace rafters with screws.
Removal of dirt mound by garage. Remove cement blocks and other small amount of garbage. Level approximately eight square foot area and layer with crushed limestone.
Garage needs to be gutted, most likely reinsulated, new drywall (or other wall), new garage doors, siding and an attached shed removed. Would also like the siding in the front of the house to be redone to match garage siding.
Can provide pictures. One estimate was approx 20 grand (if that helps with scope)
Mondays are the best days to reach me as thats my day off.
I'm looking to have some repairs done on my double detached garage. The garage has a slight lean which needs straightening and the roof also has a bow. The door to the garage (not the overhead door) is stuck shut and needs replacing.
I would like this completed in order to re-shingle the garage later this summer.
Looking for a company that does this kind of work and a cost estimate.

We need to raise the existing house in old St Boniface. One building mover has examined it and said it can be done but he was too busy on larger jobs.
We need a HVAC contractor to remove the furnace and hot water tank in current small mini-basement under center of house.
Then we need an excavator to remove the old concrete foundations and the small basement and excavate out a full basement.
Then we need a basement poured including weeping tiles and connection to city sewer and HVAC back to install a new furnace, existing water tank and ducting. More to it than that. Would like to hear your offers/suggestions.

-2 bathroom toilets, one on the main floor and another on the second floor
-in the second-floor bathroom, we are also looking at getting the vanity replaced as well as the flooring
-on the second floor, we are also looking to have the flooring in the Kitchen replaced.
Please get in touch with us here at the office and we can discuss a time that works for both of us to have you down to survey the work to be able to provide us with a quote. Please note that our offices will be closed from December 22 to January 3.
