Hello. I've got a 1400 sq foot, 3 bedroom house, main and upper floor to paint. Not all walls need paint. Approx 50 to 75 percent will though. I estimate its approx 5 to 7 hours of work. Its a rental property and the job needs to be done on either Nov 2 or 3, to accommodate the tenants.
I will pay per hour on these small one day jobs. I will be onsite to let the contractor in and I have contractor accounts myself to supply Dulux Diamond paint. Contractor must use drop sheets to protect my floors.
Once the job is done I'll have cash in hand to pay the contractor for their hours and for any other materials they provide.
I'm easy to work with and am true to my word, so if you are interested in banging out a quick job and get some cash or etransfer etc then let me know.
I also have zero issues and actually prefer paying gst if you prefer this too.
I've got 6 units and need a reliable guy that can come paint each place on average one time per year, so there is lots of repeat business here.
Thanks,
Todd
I have a two story home built in the mid 80’s. I would like to change the flooring on both levels including the staircase. The foyer and family room have beautiful oak flooring which I would keep. There are three bathrooms in total. Three bedrooms. There is a small main floor laundry. The home is 2200 square feet. I would also like to paint the entire home and ceilings. There is some drywall repair work to be done . I would also like a new soaker tub to replace my old one. It is an inlay but there is some work that needs to be done to the old tiling. Remove and replace with something.
I would also like to paint and refloor about 500 square feet in the basement including the stairs to go down stairs. 250 is undeveloped , 250 is developed.
We are in a manufactured home. In kitchen, want to replace countertop, remove shelf from kitchen counter. Remove wall section divides and paint ceiling and walls.
In the living, dining and hallway, we want to paint ceilings remove section dividers, fill in dividers and cover exiting paneling, remove fan and light from living room ceiling, paint walls. In the bathroom, we want to replace countertop sink in bathroom.
I'm prepping a house for sale and am looking for a painter to complete the interior paint work on the property.
I've painted two bedrooms leaving the master w/ walk-in closet, kitchen, living room and two bathrooms to be painted. About 2000 square feet of surface in total. I have purchased the paint required.
House is partially prepped (baseboards and electrical plates removed) and some plaster work has been done on the remainder of the house.
I'd be interested in getting a quote to complete the remaining walls including the remaining wall prep and a quote for just the painting if the walls were pre-prepped. I'm assuming two coats of paint in either option.
A track record of quality work and quick availability to start would be an asset.

Recently, we noticed several interior rooms of our principle dwelling house displayed several imperfections requiring minor touch ups and painting. The interior requires minor interior painting on the ceilings, main bedroom & livingroom walls. We require a professional painter with experience, knowledge & proper tools to complete the required job.
We require a professional applicator to do the following to ensure we meet Residential Buildings Fire Safety By-law 4304/86
1) Fire-resistant varnish on 6 doors and frames. We require the original wood look remains.(such as Flame Control coasting No166&167) Class A or B would suffice.
2.a) Regular intumescent paint required for the stairs and ceiling of exit stairwell (3 stories)
2.b) May consider all walls in stairwell also. would require some drywall repair in some areas.
3) Regular intumescent paint required for the ceiling of front exit stairwell (1/2 story)
We require a 'certificate of compliance' form be filled (showing the paint has been applied as directed) in order to provide the city.
All estimates welcome.
We would like to replace the light fixture above our kitchen island. Currently we have a stipple ceiling, and a wooden box with flourescent light fixtures in it that drops down about 8 inches. It is 50" x 32" We were thinking of removing the box,, placing a stainless steel plate over the area and hanging a fixtue from it. We are also open to new ideas.
We are also considering paint the entire interior of the house.

Hi there. My husband and I are renovating our basement. We settled on an open concept with the ceiling (aka: exposed) and would like to get it and our walls painted. It would be two rooms totalling around 733 sq. feet. The ceiling would be black and all walls except for one, would be an off white that we have chosen. The wall where our staircase is, will be a different colour. We are hoping to have this done in the next 2 weeks, so quick quoting will be very important! Thanks.
House built in approx 1945. Has hardwood floors under carpet. Home owners installed carpet and it can be removed before work begins. House is approx. 871 sq. ft, but only the 1/2 story second floor and living room and hallway on main floor need to be repaired and painted.
The walls are plaster and lathe with some cracks on main floor which need to be repaired before painting. Living room is about 12x 20 second floor is about 10x20.
The hardwood floors are in pretty bad condition, and need to be repaired on second floor and main floor in living room, hallway and front hall. Main floor bedroom will liekly remain carpet as the flooring used in that room is different than in the rest of the house.
I would like the flooring to be stained a very dark brown - espresso is usually what it is called. The walls will be painted fairly neutral colors. The main floor is white right now, but the second floor is pale pink and will be going to a cream colour. I might want to have the main floor bedroom painted depending on prices.
The suite is nine hundred-some sq. ft. All walls are the same colour. I'm ok with closets not being painted. I have permission from landlord to paint, as long as contractor is licensed/bonded/insured. Am moving stuff into suite throughout September as I don't have to be out of current place till end of September. Would like it done as soon as feasible, though.
We have two bathrooms that need to be painted, as well as some wall repair after removing the vanity. We also would like to have our ceilings painted and a master bedroom, but would like to focus on the 2 bathrooms first. Please let me know if you would be able to quote this for us. Thank you.
We are wanting to paint in our livingroom/diningroom area including our entrance and hallways. We also want to remove our carpet and replace with either hardwood or laminate flooring. We haven't decided but we do have the square footage for some estimates to do this would be great. To do the LR/DR & Hall the footage is 380 sq ft and for the BR's it would be 450 sq ft plus 10% for wastage. We would also like to replace the flooring in our kitchen with a laminate and entrance but I don't have the sq ft for those areas. If I could kinda get some info and idea of what it could cost? I know the told sq ft of our house is about 1280 sq ft so I'm going to say the kitchen and entrance could be about 350 approx because we are leaving the bathrooms and not doing them at this time. I'm also thinking we maybe able to paint the kitchen ourselves but if you want to give us an idea of what it maybe to paint in there that would be fine. We know what we would like to pay in order to try and get this done but would love to get some quotes or estimates and if anyone can let us know if it would make much difference in putting in hardwood over laminate. Does it make a big difference in the value of your home? We have 2 kids ages 13 and 8 and a small dog. Will the quote or estimates include taking out the carpet or would we have to prepare somethings before anyone would come in?
We are looking for quotes on painting the majority of our house interior. the vast majority is white except for three feature walls. We are in an 1800 square foot bungalow. The basement (not included in square footage) is an optional price and will be one colour.
Also included will be painting of the baseboards, handrails, and caps from wood stain to white.
Work is not needed immediately but after kitchen renovation and flooring is finished.
See attached designer specs on colors and paint. P1,P2,P3 on diagtram indicate paint colour.
I am interested in getting part of my interior house painted. Could you give me a quote for the living room (12' x 18'), dining room (12' x 8'), front entrance (8' x 5') plus closet, hallway (3' x 14') plus closet; a separate quote for kitchen (14' x 9') plus closet and back entrance/stairs downstairs; and a separate quote for spaying the ceilings.
I would like the necessary prep work to all surfaces (which is not alot) and two coats to all walls. The living room, dining room, hallway, front entrance will be one colour with the exception of one feature wall (the wall where the buffet and hutch is located). The kitchen and back entrance/stairs downstairs will be one colour. Furniture will have to be removed and replaced (dining room table, buffet and hutch). The floor in the kitchen is sheet vinyl and care would be required to move the stove and refrigerator out for painting. It is a non-smoking house.
I am including a few photos to help with the quote.
Tracy
We have a house that is approx. 1800 sq. ft. All walls are made of plaster. We need some cracks filled in, and the complete interior of the house painted. If using only one colour will cost us less, we would be fine with off-white for the walls, and white for doors and trim. There is very little trim to be painted on the main floor, because it is mostly stained oak. The main floor has a livingroom, dining room, kitchen, sunroom and hallway. The second floor has two bedrooms, a den, a hallway, a bathroom, and a sunroom. One of the two bedrooms needs repair or removal of the stiple ceiling. The third floor has two rooms.
The house was built in 1911.
We would appreciate a 'ballpark' estimate (range is okay) before scheduling an on-site estimate.
We are buying a home and want to have some minor repairs done to it that our home inspector suggested we have done.
Some of the repairs/updates he suggested:
Fresh coat of paint on some of the walls.
Removal of some ungrounded wiring (very minimal from what we were shown/told).
Minor plumbing (a pipe needs to be cut down and capped and just some no longer used PVC pipe connections that can be taken out as well).
Repair to ceiling installation 3x2ft section (a section of ceiling seems to be over-packed with insulation and has caused part of the ceiling to bow. needs to be taken out/reinsulated and the ceiling repaired).
Capping off one gutter.
