The north and south sides of my house have the original shiplap with settled sawdust insulation. My hydro bill is crazy and I can practically hear the neighbours sneeze. The rest of the house has been covered in siding that when the birds hit it, the siding cracks, size L3 or L4 also with out insulation.
Can anyone help me find a reasonably cost effective solution to this?
The house was built in 1911 (?) and the siding is vinyl covering old asbestos siding. The renovations completed by previous owners looks as though they did without licensed contractors.
There are both minor and major repairs/renos needed.
I need to obtain a quote to submit to my bank.
Split level bungalow, about 60 years old being repainted by a trusted painter (used previously) who reports the facia boards on the corner of the high part of the house needs replacing. Not an entire board replacement is needed, probably about 4 feet around the corner. Of course requires .releasing the eavestrough and then refixing it to the new board. There may be another area after another look by the painter.
I am prepared to take a reasonable minimum charge.

Hi there,
I have a renovation project that I am looking to have the roofing on the house and garage re-done, as well as vinyl siding done on both. I am looking for labour and materials quotes and for it to be complete before winter. I have a set budget that must be met. If you are interested in the work, please contact me.
Thanks.
We have an old exterior window that needs replacing. The window company will not sell us a window until we get the damage around the window repaired. There is probably some water damage in the walls. Our house has wood siding on the outside - its a very old house, over 100 years old. So some of that will need to be repaired. We also have original wood paneling on the inside of the house around the damaged window that I don't want to lose. We want to maintain the original character but fix any water damage caused by the rotten frame.
The window is roughly 3 feet x 4 feet. It's on the second level of our house and scaffolding will probably be required.
I am looking for quotes asap.
House is in good condition, needs some TLC. Existing stucco is in reasonable condition there are a few different textures as it was not done by a professional (prior owner/builder of home) with some cracking and therefore the cost to repair/re-stucco would be considerable. It's a 1 1/2 story home, would require build out of window/door frames and likely build out of the fascia on the sides of house (not applicable to front/back where eaves are).
Home is a 'side by side.' Three walls (front, back & side facing street) currently have original vertical cedar siding (home built in 1973) with all windows in home replaced 3 years ago. Want home re-sided, with any sections of sheathing replaced where needed.
Additional potential work, roof insulated with spray insulation. Roof itself was recently replaced and area for insulation could potentially be accessed through outer wall if the work was required.
Hi there - I'm looking for someone to quote on some wood paneling replacement with PVC siding for 1/2 or 3/4 of my house (total 1,263sqft)
Also looking for 3 window wells to be refreshed (old ones dug out and new ones fitted at proper height).
3 sections of roof may need minor drip edge repairs/remedial work.
Possible covering of concrete steps with wood and a small wood deck platform. Some sort of raised flower bed/containment creation.
General landscape (raise and even out current front yard with appropriate grading).
I have a 2 story house that needs the wood siding taken off ASAP.
1 wall completely
Top floor of 2 others
Lath or saw dust removed from behind it to prep for new insulation.
I also need the OSB put up and house wrap applied after I run some new electrical
Materials are on site
No garbage removal required
***Payment is from a govermnent grant that needs to see the work finished before funds will be released***
We would like to replace our entire exterior. We currently have siding. Although my husband would like to re-insulate and re-wire before finishing the siding. We can also do the removal of the old siding. So I am looking for a quote to dispose of the old siding, new gutters and facia (no stone required). Our home is 820 sq ft, but it would probably be best if you did a drive by! Although we don't have the largest budget as described below, I'd like to see the options. You can also speak to my husband about how it would work with reinsulation and wiring as he is keen on doing it!
I need my soffit and fascia repaired this past summer a big wind and hail strom knocked it down we paid a contractor to do the work then he had many lies and took off to timmins ontario with the our money I need the cheepest contractor for the work. now that I saved up some cash I need this done asap the city gave me until the end of july to get done to comply with the ordinance please help i'm at my wits end the lowest quote I got was $900 if any one could meet or beat this quote I will even be willing to do some free labor I am a handy with repairs.
aprox 1000 sq ft home already sided on the front. Eaves and such were replaced in spring and 3 sides are currently are peeling paint...wood sided home. I would want siding white in color as well as a painted cement seal to strengthen the foundation and assist in preventing future crack damage if possible.
Our house is 1800 sq ft 2 storey built in 1974. We've currently got rotting wood all around the front and on the upper half on the sides of the house. The rest is stucco. The soffit and fascia are wood as well and not sure if it will need to be replaced. We'd also like to replace our front door. Our front has a attached garage with a cement patio beside. 2 lg pillars have rotting wood as well. We're planning for a spring project and would like to know what the budget would be. If serious, we can supply pics.
