Looking to construct a semi-detach, 3 levels 4,240sqft including the basement (2,120sqft per side). Looking for quotes for framing (floor, wall, doors, windows, roof, interior and exterior finishes, ect). Does you're company handle projects this size?
I have just purchased a home that I need to make some changes to in order to have a functional basement apartment. The main thing that needs done is one basement window needs to be enlarged so that it meets code. The bedroom does not have a window because the outside wall goes to the garage. I would like someone to look at it and see if a window can be put there anyways (although I am pretty sure we can't). Otherwise, the window in the livingroom needs to be extended up and over so that it meets regulations.
Other than that, I have a small hole in one of the room where the piping is that I need boxed in but still accessible and I need one, maybe 2 doors installed in order to separate the two apartments. There is a frame there for 1 of the doors, but the other will need a frame and some drywall (at the bottom of a set of stairs) - only if I determine it is needed.
Upstairs, I want to add a washer and dryer in the wardrobe room. There is already a sink and counter there that will need torn out but that also means there is already a hot/cold water hook up there for the washing machine. THe dryer will need to be vented out the outside wall so that will need to be done as well. Other than that, they need to be connected to a new breaker and we should be good.
Transforming my carport into a garage (10 feet larger than the existing carport).
Closing down an existing staircase going down to basement (middle of kitchen) and place floor over existing staircase entrance.
Renovating the kitchen (new countertops, bigger island, backsplash, lighting and new floor too), bringing down a small wall to create open concept.
Relocating the main floor bathroom, using the existing one to enlarge the master bedroom and creating a walk in closet.
Creating two bedroom in the basement and adding one window in the basement for one of the bedrooms.
