I am located in Ajax. The backyard is pooling water at the end of the yard. My neighbour has a drain on the other side of the fence. My backyard is slopped about 3/4 in and towards the back of the fence. I would like to eventually use this space and install a garden or just have it more levelled and lay down sod so my toddler does not play in the little swamp.
I live in a fully detached home in Ajax with a small front and back yard. There are also several flower beds and a pond.
I AM NOT LOOKING TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON LANDSCAPING, PATIO OR STONE WORK.
I don't have time to maintain my yard, flower beds and pond and am looking to hire someone for the spring, summer and fall to do this. This would involve initial maintenance/gardening/landscaping in the spring to clean out and set up the pond, move flowers around, remove some flower beds, and lay some sod as I want to increase the amount of grass coverage in my front and back yard. Following the intital maintenance/gardening/landscaping work, I want to have regular maintenance of my flower beds, yard, and pond throughout the spring, sumer and fall. This would include maintaining and mowing the lawn (I had a very bad thistle problem in my grass last year), weeding and maintaining the flower beds, and maintaining the pond.
In addition, there are a couple of small areas I might want to have some regular square patio stones put down - nothing fancy or expensive.
I would like to discuss my plans at my place in person as I think you need to see my yard and what I want to do - over the phone and online quotes will not work. Please contact me if you are interested.
My main concern is actually price, quality and appearance. ;o)
Thanks!

I am looking to have a deck made out of composite material rather than cedar or other materials. I am looking for the following work to be done:
Sidewalk converted to river rock/pea gravel + 8 or so step stones (25'x4')
Entire backyard converted into a deck with the lowest possible / feasible rise from the ground (approx. 34'x25')
Two steps from backyard patio door to the deck (approx. 5'5" width x 1' length)
Flower bed surrounding the backend of the backyard - deck should have an edge/border/lip that provides an appealing transition into the flower bed (3' at the rear and 2' on the sides)
