We currently have a 4 piece bath. i would like the tub/shower combo redone to be a separate shower stall. The shower to have a bench seat and will be about 5 feet long, The tub will be 6 feet long. The toilet will remain where it is. The present counter will be moved to opposite wall. Access to plumbing is good as basement is unfinished. I am hoping for a pocket door to access instead of swing door. Re-tile of floor and partial walls. I am not necessarily looking for custom and am quite happy with box store purchases where needed.
Small upstairs full bathroom. Needs to be fully redone (plaster removed; drywall installed; new fixtures). The house was built in the 1940s. It is a hot water system (upgraded when I bought the house 3 years aog). I am also looking to get an estimate on replacing bedroom and hall doors and possible cupboard doors. There are some other minor repairs to be done (e.g. electrical connection for exterior lights and exterior plug).
1. Bathroom reno, which includes, new tub, vanity, toilet, and some walls replaced around tub area, and rest of bathroom if need be, along with new flooring around tub area if needed, and laying of vinyl flooring. This also includes adding new plumbing of taps.
2. Ceiling tiles to be put in some areas of finished bsmt, we do have some supplies to complete this job. Also new trim to be put down in some areas of house. And electrical outlets to be installed in bsmt, the elec. boxes are in place, just needs to have outlets wired.
3. Some areas of main part of house to be painted, can work out if paint is included.
This home is located in Gravenhurst, and we would like to have this work started in the next few weeks, or sooner, even if some of the smaller work can be started asap. All of the jobs can be negotiated with some supplies bought before job is started or if supplied by a contractor. We are serious people with a limited budget and would like to have a contractor who would be dedicated the same way.
Thanks.
Expand bathroom into linen closet,
Remove tub, sink, toilet, wall and floor tile, mirror, medicine cabinet,
Install new free standing tub, toilet and pedestal sink, light over mirror/sink, linoleum floor,
possible walk-in shower and cabinets.
Requesting quotes only.
I have a shower (no tub), the type with walls and the bottom. It appears that the frame was built around the shower, so I understand the front of the frame will need to be removed and replaced. I believe there is a problem with the drain or it could be the seal was not done properly around the bottom. I purchased a new shower to be installed. I am not sure what little pieces there are that go with that.
How many hours do you think it would take and what would you charge per hour?
We have an 8 x 4 walk-in shower in our newly built basement bathroom. we need someone to complete the shower floor. Lining and drain are in but we need the pan set for the mortar bed. We then need all walls and floors tiled. We have 24 x 24 tiles going on the main floor and 3 walls. Also a few niches in the shower itself.
We will supply the tiles, but we need the mortar for the large shower floor. The grout, grey for shower floor, white for main floor and walls. Some grinding work may need to be done on the existing concrete as it has some high spots in areas the plumbing was moved. Tile installation of one main wall (ceiling to floor), and then all three walls of shower. Marble slab needed under our custom glass wall (to be installed afterwards by another trade)
Bathroom in its entirety measures appx 8 x 12'
It is 500 square feet to be tiled around the new bathtub, probably tile that is about 1 square foot in size. Everything else in the bathroom has been rennovated already. There was tub surround put on around the bath tub however it was not done professionally and consequently it has to be replaced. We would like to just replace it with tile. However, there is a 1-2 foot square patch near to, the bath spout that needs to be re-inforced.
We have been given a price of 500 by home depot on orillia but they can't do the job for 2-3 weeks and we need it done right away.
Thanks

Bathroom cabinet/vanity required to fill a space 71 inches wide. Must accommodate a counter top with 2 sinks, cabinet doors for both sides and a row of drawer in between. Would purchase ready made double sink vanity unfortunately they do not exist in this size. 60inch is too small and 72 inch too big. Wood frame, shaker style, white(we can paint) to complete the main bathroom. Thank you!
Hi there,
We have a laundryroom downstairs that is also our 2nd bathroom, there's a rough in for a shower, so I want to put a shower in there, rip out an old vanity, put in a new one. Put tiling down on the floor etc. The existing floor is subflooring over concrete, there will need to be some new concrete poured we beleive etc. We'd also like to bring plumbing up to a room upstairs which is directly above the laundryroom, so we can put laundry facilities in there.
We are looking to get started as soon as possible.
Remove old tub and tile back to studs. Supply/ Install Maax or other 60" walk in shower surround And slider door. Supply/Install shower plumbing as necessary. Complete finishing work above shower surround and related trim work and painting. Custom tile work not necessary above surround. Bath grade panel material will be acceptable. I have a new "spa" type shower nozzle panel from Lowes to use for this job.

We would like to have our existing walk in shower replaced. It is a 36"x36" 3 wall shower that is tiled from the base to the ceiling. It has a single handle fixture with faucet and handheld shower head. We would like to replace the existing tiles and green-board with acrylic walls and an acrylic shower base and simply replace the existing fixtures with new ones.
Looking for for front walkway, 2ft path side of drive and side entrance with dual railings on the front and single railing at the side.
Bathroom to reduce step into shower or to make complete accessible walk-in. Increase pan size. Ok to lose the tub. Military is covering the cost. Statement of work required. Materials must be mid grade. Must be completed before 18 Oct 21.
The room is about 9 x 14 and currently it is a bedroom that I would like turned into my 3rd washroom.
The house is 4 year old and has no rough in, but the room is located next to the laudry room for plumbing access. I've tried to sell this home, but the potential buyers all want a bathroom in the basement.
As I'm selling the property I would like the project finished on a timely manner.
Is a permit required and how long does that take?
As I have 9ft ceilings in kitchen, for some reason the builder did not utilize the space as I would
like, plus I would like granite/marble countertops. L shape with double sink. 3 ft w x 7'3" x 4'5";
3' w x 4'5".
Thank you,
Linda
Looking to have a kitchen & bathroom installed in a small studio apartment in Barrie. Space is about 450sq ft in total.
Kitchen is one row of cabinets only.
Bathroom is a 3 piece with stand up corner shower.
Rough-in work is already done.
Pictures attached show the current space as well as what I hope the finished product to be (roughly)
Will need plumbing, drywall, and doors as well.

Hello, we’d like to do a few things:
Kitchen: Turn existing 2 tier island into large one level dining space, match other counters, sink, fix some laminate cabinetry that’s peeling, possibly add light fixtures above island, backsplash.
2 bathroom refreshes and 1tub install: upstairs needs new tile/waterproofing, glass wall/doors, new shower fixture and possibly turn shower pan into tub. If not, we want to add a tub downstairs (need to chat in person to decide what’s best), new vanity downstairs, possible relocation of toilet depending if we do a tub, full new built in shower/tub space (currently it’s an old pre-fab).
I also am curious about closing in our front porch and creating a mud-room entry space in 1/3 of it and connecting the large windows in the front of our house to the other 2/3 via French doors or something of that nature.
Finally we would like to re-side both the house and garage and possibly do an all new gutter system. We have an old chimney and satellites that need to be removed from the roof as well.
We’d be interested in estimates for:
1) just the kitchen,
2) kitchen and bathroom,
3) kitchen, bathrooms and enclosed porch,
4) everything
