Hi
Our front porch is under one of the rooms in our house. The corner of the porch which has the support to the upper room has cracked and the brick work is crumbling. We would like a quote on replacing the support with a steel post.
Call me to schedule a date to have a peak at this issue.

10'-0" wide approx. 20'-0" long deck. No railing or staires required. Just a flat deck. Outside ground level is approx. 18" lower than finished floor level of our house. As per my understanding the deck has to be raised approx 9" to 12" from the ground level.
Thank you.
Hello,
I'm looking for a 10X12 deck with 2 steps down to the lawn. I would like a quote with the option for composite as well as Pressure treated. I would like the steps to go around all three sides.
I need a new privacy fence on 3 sides of my lot. 70' on each side and 90' on the back, with no gates. Please quote with 5' posts.
Looking for a brand new wood deck for our new home we move in to July 20th. Would like it done ASAP so we can enjoy the second half of our summer.
No existing deck, so this would be right from scratch.
Want a fairly simple one level wood deck, 16ft by 23ft, roughly 1-2 ft off the ground, with railings, two privacy walls on either side, and roughly an 8 ft opening for stairs (1-2 stairs deep).
Hi there,
I would like to know approx how much it would cost for you to provide me with drawings for a new front porch/deck. I am having the old concrete steps and garden removed (including evergreen) and so the entire porch deck would be about 8 feet deep by 16 feet long by 26" high which is the current height of the cement slab deck. If you view the pic i attached you will see the current set up being replaced. The new porch deck would run from the middle of the bay window over to the right of the evergreen tree. And that end would have privacy screen of some sort.
Prefer cedar or composite decking but open to ideas.
Right now I just want an idea of how much it would be for someone to design it and provide me with drawings.
Thanks,
Lesley
The deck is to be free-standing but located off the back entrance garden door. Deck measurements will be approximately 14 1/2 feet along the house by 10 feet out from the house but we would like a 45 degree angle beginning about 6 feet from the house to allow easier access to the rear yard from the narrow side yard. The overhead view appears as half an octagon.
The square footage is to be approximately 120.
We would like to receive prices on a maintenance free project and a price for pressure treated materials beneath a cedar deck with cedar railings.
We are in possession of our builder's survey and grading plan and we purchased our own real property survey immediately after our September 2010 new home purchase.
The City of Barrie advises that we will require an up-to-date BCIN deck design for the building permit.
Seeking a qualified contractor to assist in the completion the following work on a renovation in Barrie.
1) installation of a Regal Deck System (glass and handrail) / deck is approx 12 x 12 then narrows down to approx 6 x 18 long. See photos.
2) complete the finishes of 4 bathrooms (3 full & 1 powder room) with ceramics, vanities, shower niches, ship lap (currently at the drywall stage)
3) installation of a great room and two bedrooms with ship-lap on cathedral ceiling and walls; ship-lap has to be ordered still
4) build deck stairs down to Pool area
5) install trim, doors, hardware
6) other general handy-man (honey to do list) items
Wooden deck of approximately 55 foot length and 12 foot width at one end, 4 and a half at other, is one storey above ground (walkout below). Will require 1 gate for access. Also stairways leading to ground level, a second smaller deck area concrete based, smaller third deck and stairs of wood- all require new railings. Uncertain at this time as to what material to use, looking for suggestions from experienced builders/designers- wood and metal? something else, not all wood though. Really think you need to see this to get an idea of what you are looking at. Would appreciate competitive quotes. Must be done by fall 2016.
Thank you. I am the owner of this property.
I have a 12year old cedar deck around my pool, very large flat deck, also have hardwood deck at back entrance, 3 steps around the entire 16x 10' nether deck has a railing. I am selling and would like to improve the look as it has some old semi paint on it. Any suggestions as to time and cost ?
We have a 20 x 16 deck that we would like to add a small addition to, then skirt it all so that the puppy can't get under it and take her sweet time coming back out. Would like to have a 6-8 foot stairway-no railing needed, only 3 steps or so. Addition will be about 8 x 19 or so. I would like to buy all the wood and materials from Home Depot so that I can get their 18 month payment but offer you cash to make it all the easier. I cannot help you with labor as I have a compressed fracture in my back but my wife makes a mean coffee!!
I know it is not a big job but we also hope to do a bedroom in the basement at a later date. Would like to do this in November. Even the first week.
I have a porch in front of my house, just as you exit through the main door. The size would be 57 inches in width and 61 inches in length. It is only a 2 wall requirement as the other two are, brick garage and brick house which includes the main entrance into the house. The door would be on the 57 inch i.e. the width of the sun porch.
I would like to find out how much would it be for a project like that to be installed and how much would it be just for the material if I wanted and had time to install it myself.
Thank you.
I bought a Townhouse in Barrie 3 years ago and the DIY deck I inherited is crumbling apart and dangerous. It's 2 level and quite small. No railings! I would like to replace it but as a widowed senior my budget is modest. I don't know if you do small designs, but if so, I would appreciate a quote (if it's a free estimate only please).
The design is extremely basic - no steps as there are currently concrete ones. (however full length steps would be on my wish list)
