Complete demo and rebuild of back of home from foundation up to second storey. First floor is 525 sq. ft. which includes kitchen and dining area. Second floor is 295 sq. ft. which is the loft, 230 sq. ft. of cathedral ceiling.
I have architectural drawings prepared and have a budget closer to $100,000. Need to know how far I can get on this project with that amount.
Thank you for your time.
We are looking to have a laundry room addition built on our house. We have an existing side entrance to our house which will be the point of access into the house from the addition. No plumbing or electrical is in the way and has good access for construction. Approx size of addition is 10x13 feet. Pictures attached show proposed area of addition.
We require our home which is a panabode log house to be lifted. The existing foundation to be demolished and a new one poured. We are considering putting on an addition, this depends on quote. If it is too costly we will have the new basement finishes and no addition. If the addition can fit into our budget, we will leave the basement unfinished and do the addition. The addition footage is uncertain, possibly 500-800 sq.feet. Our main concern is having the house lifted and a new foundation formed. Along with this is a fireplace. Unfortunately when the foundation goes so does our fireplace. We want it replaced also. We already have quotes for this job but if you would like it, the fire place measures inside 78" wide by 86" high, 9" out from the wall and the base is 24" out from the wall. The outside measures approx. 172" high and 51/2 ft wide and about 15'' out from the siding. It's all brick. We have quotes to re-do it as is and to have it done with field stone or cultured stone. The chimney is double because we also have a wood stove in the basement. It would also need brick or stone on the walls around it and beneath it.
