I'm not sure if this is too big or too small of a job. I need to move my stairs to a new location, there is no worries of a loadbearing wall, where the stars are now, only need to be moved approximately 10 feet. I have an idea of what I want for railings and the ballast that wraps around the stairs. I have all the drywall up in the living/dining/bedrooms. I need taping, muddying, primed and painted.
We have a patio being lifted by a tree and pushed into the house. We would like to demo part of the patio and have a deck built over the top. We also have a retaining wall that is falling down that we want filled in with stairs going to the basement door instead of the walkway. Secondly, we need our roof reshingled and possible siding onto a brick house. The house was built in 1961.
Would someone come to my house for (free) estimates?
We need to bring one wall down (back of house) bring it to the back yard to create a 4 season room;
We will need glass panels, flooring, heat/air conditioning vents installed - everything!!
The existing kitchen will also need to have one half wall down, to open up space to (new) 4 season room.
I have pictures with design ideas ... Need to check prices as we are on tight budget.
Thanks for help.
House is a 3000 sq ft. Century home. It needs new footings in the basement, updated insulation in the attic, roof repaired, windows replaced, and then ultimately we intend to change the layout of the 2nd level (bedrooms and bathrooms) as well as open up the main floor and update all flooring and the kitchen. I would like someone to walk through the house with me ASAP to give me an idea of pricing for the repairs first and then once these have been completed we can move onto the renos.
Demolish interior partition walls, install support columns as necessary, repair walls - drywall, replace ceiling tile, install track lighting, switches and plugs, paint walls & ceiling, refinish wood floor approx. 800 s.f, install carpet tile, approx. 750 s.f. Finish columns, baseboard, etc.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I am looking for a quote from reliable renovation specialists that can assess the property and give their recommendations.
We need the property liveable, saleable or both. There is roof repair work to be done as well as renovations inside. We will be providing materials through a home depot account. You can arrange to view the property which is listed on MLS and give us your feedback.
I have areas of my siding that need to be replaced on my 1.5 storey 1300 sq ft house (maybe 300-500 sq feet worth). My current siding is basic white vinyl and my home was previously owned by a general contractor which is why I don't understand the siding shortcuts.
I also need 3 windows replaced that the previous owner painted shut after removing the handles (1 is wooden and the other 2 are metal) and they are roughly 23.5x44, 28x41, 28x41 (replaced with vinyl single pane windows).
I also need 2 windows removed/boarded up and sided over they are roughly 26.5x17 and 85x54.5 (I may need this area vapour sealed also since a small section of siding fell off and all i see is white foam).
I need 2 doors capped and 11 windows capped.
My gutter at the back of the house approx needs to be replaced and I need a downspout from the 1.5 storey portion of the house installed.
I'm trying to get quotes for what I have listed and if I were to go ahead and just reside the whole house and also quotes in case the rest of the house doesn't have the vapour barrier and the windows have no seals. I would really appreciate any and all responses.
Thank you!
Vinyl siding (and trims for 4 windows) for house about 2300 sq ft, sofit around the house 44' X 55', and shingles for an annex (sunroom) 20' X 15' with low roof angle, which might need to be raised a couple inches before reroofing. The house was built in 1975. Also, we have a new garage door with all necessary hardware to be installed 7' X 9'.
We are looking for quotes from experienced contractors for a small addition/extension to add onto the back of our home. The extension involves a master bedroom on the main level with a another bedroom (equal size) directly beneath it in the basement. We also have two small walls we would like removed from the inside of our home to open up the floor plan for more room for our growing family (baby number two coming in October). We have the floor plans drawn up professionally and just looking for the right crew to make our dream a realty.
Thank you.
