A very small roughed in bathroom:
-to save money we want to eliminate the roughed in shower and basin
-hook up toilet and vanity to water
-move water lines for a bar that will be very close to the bathroom
-add trap door for the automatic shutoff for water outside which is in the bathroom
-paint
-place down tile or laminate on floor
-hook up fan
-add pot lights or another kind of lighting system
Bathroom is dated - it is 6' wide x 7' long including the bath area (small bathroom). Needs new sink, new tub, new floor and something on walls. The height to ceiling is 7'. I do have a budget and would like decent decor but nothing too extravagant. The house is over 50 years old.
I don't care what type of tiling is being used as long as everything looks nice in the end and isnt cheap looking. Same with the tub, a regular tub would be fine. Would be nice to have neutral colours so that I can decorate around white/beige bathroom.
If the price is right and the job is good, I have another bathroom to do eventually and some other stuff around the house as well.
Would like to have bathroom redone.
Scope includes removal of old bathtub, tiles and facets.
Toilet removal. Vanity removal.
Remove old vinyl flooring.
Install new tub and faucets. Ceramic tiles around tub and one wall.
New ceramic tiles on floor.
Install new toilet and vanity.
Change single electric receptacle to 2 individual receptacles.
Paint.
I need a basement bathroom renovated. All is roughed in. We need a shower with glass (supplied), toilet installed (possibly supplied), pedestal sink installed (we have), bead board (supplied), ceiling fan (we have) and tile (we will have). There is a heated floor below the The space is very small. We also have a number of other minor plumbing and electrical issues that need to be reviewed. I need this completed in a timely fashion. The work has been started however, I have not seen my contractor in two months. It's time to move. We live in the caledon area.
Narrow laundry room needs to be redesigned. Need to remove countertop that rests on top of front load wasther and dryer and remove sink in order to pull out side by side front loading washer and dryer - will need to stack washer and dryer, replace a portion of the counter top, possibly replace laundry tub sink with a smaller sink
Master bath currently has a leak in the shower area (leaking to kitchen below). Decided to redo; require new subfloor and drywall. I have already purchased new shower stall, vanity and hardware. Keeping existing bathtub and toilet. House is approx. 10 yrs. old and there have been no previous renovations to the master bath.
Remove and replace old tile from existing ensuite stand alone shower and tub. Shower stall is approx 30" x 34" and tub area is standard 5' with with tile all around. Both areas will require new Kerdi board, Densshield or Cement Board back board. Install glass shower door.

We would like to have our ensuite shower retiled and have a new faucet and shower head installed. The ensuite bathroom is in good shape but the tiles in the shower are starting to get mouldy and dirty so they need replaced. Our shower stall is the standard size shower for ensuite bathrooms...about 3 feet x 3 feet. There is no shower door on the shower now. We are using a shower curtain. We would probably want to put a glass shower door on it when it is retiled. We will buy our own tiles and fixtures, but we need someone to remove the old tiles and fixtures and replace with new tiles and fixtures and install a shower door. We are planning to sell the house within the next couple of years, so we are not looking for anything high end. We just want to clean it up.
