Just bought a house in Bradford but we want to modernize it!
We want to open up the kitchen and add an island. We want floors throughout the main and basement levels that are durable for pets and kids.
Once summer comes, we also need some roof and pool work.
We can only meet our chosen contractor at the home in person in Jan so send me your best guess and ideas electronically.
We have one week between house sales so we must start Feb 16. We understand the kitchen will take time.
Thanks
Jenn
I have a front steps and landing that covers my cold storage in the basement. This past winter has taken it's told after 20 years. I am starting to get leaks into my cold storage. Also the brick around the landing is deteriorating. I would like to get a quote to fix the leak and resurface the area. I live in Bradford, Ontario
Do you service that area and if so when can someone come to look at the work and quote on it.
I need a one bedroom legal basement apartment according to the Town of Bradford. I already have a bathroom finished. Its a walkout basement. The furnace and hot water heater will have to be moved to accommodate the bedroom which needs a window. I need flooring and a kitchen. The bathroom needs to be fixed a bit maybe change the floor fix the ceiling and fix the shower enclosure. A door on the side of the house needs to be installed as well, I have already had the gas meter moved for that purpose. I will need a path on the side of the house for the side door and a small deck and widening the driveway to accommodate 2 cars side by side. Other than the bathroom the basement is totally unfinished.
I need my kitchen uninstalled (10x10x4 "G" shaped). Plumbing capped. Washer and dryer moved and capped. Toilet and vanity removed and capped. 10x10x4' of bulkhead drywall removed. Ductwork stays as-is....will be built into cabinetry by kitchen company. 540 square feet of tile floor removed. 540sqft of new porcelain 12x24" tile installed. Washer and dryer re-Installed. New vanity installed. Existing toilet re-installed. Some minor electrical work (a few outlets put into cabinetry and a new light fixture installed). New sink and dishwasher hooked up. Kitchen company (Rockwood Kitchens) is installing the kitchen cabinetry and countertop. The kitchen install is booked for June 9-16 so the new flooring needs to be in place before that date. Fast responses are much appreciated.
A 1980 sq foot raised bungalow (3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom) needs to be built while the current house remains on the property. The existing old house will then be demolished.
