Space is about 1450 sq. ft.
House is a backsplit and is roughly 1200 sq feet. Support post was taken out in the upper part causing the three 2 by 8 to sag slightly. there was a wall built across where the other one was taken out so there is no sag. We would like a lvl beam or a steel beam to replace the three two by eights so we would not have to put a support post back in. We also like a washroom with shower with tile floor and the upper half of the basement renovated. Half the house is about a 5 foot high crawl space which we would like insulated and drywalled. The house was built in 1968 and I have just taken down the walls and ceiling and have removed 95 percent of the original material in the basement.
Regards
George

Basement is Roughly 1100 sq
Looking for a company that can perform all what is mentioned above, if not be able to hire licensed and certified individuals to perform the other tasks if need be in case they cannot do a requested upgrade on my list, Keeping in mind the added contractor must finish the job within the same time frame up until dead line of the entire job completion.
I need the job to be done within a quoted time frame as I have tenants renting upstairs, I need someone that can put in temporary water lines etc if need be in case that particular job will take 1 + days or any other jobs, I not wouldn't like have my tenants go without something of necessity other than just a few hours as they have young children.
All and all I am looking for a great team of people that loves what they do and that I can look forward to working with in the future, as long as they don't rush the job and have workers that are truly professional.
Hi.
My basement is finished but i want to expand the washroom, rework the kitchen and laundry. No work is needed in the 2 bedrooms. There will be minimal work to ceilings.
The existing ceramic tile floor is to be removed and replaced with new flooring. I will provide the floor tile.
The area to be renovated is approx 34 ft long by 8.5 ft wide.
I have a sketch that can be provided.
Thank you
Paul

2. Good insulation for a walk-out basement
3. A large bathroom with two separate toilets for elderly
4. Would like to get this done in spring as this is a new home and would like to make sure no water issues in basement
We are moving my senior parents into our home. I would like to provide them with their own space with 2 bedrooms (one to be used as a tv room), bathroom, living area, kitchen and laundry room. We have a large basement as our house is 3200 square feet. The basement is currently unfinished with high ceilings and the bathroom is ruffed in. We have 2 sets of stairs leading to the basement.
I want my basement renovated with a new bathroom and bedroom drywalled,
I want the areas other than the bedroom and basement to be painted with mould and mildew resistant paint and a rubber floor or something like that installed.
I already have and electrician and i can get a plumber if required.
It is about 800 square feet.and the old basement has be already removed.
I also want a T ceiling installled in the basement
I have copy of floor plan i have drawn and a more detailed outline of the project avialable.
I had posted a job regarding my basement renovation last year but couldn't get it done due to financial reasons. I'm planning to open a home daycare, so wanted to get a bathroom and open space in my basement. The area is around 300sq ft. I want pros to come and visit my place for the estimates. I also wanted to get a pantry or some cabinets in my kitchen for extra storage. My budget is 15000 plus taxes. I wanted to start it ASAP.
Need to complete 700 square feet of framing, drywall, tape and painting. Also installition of laminate flooring.
Please forward quotations as we cannot finish site until to start the job. Visiting site for quotation has ended, please forward quotation to the above mentioned work.
1.
There is one closet which needs a demising wall of 75.5" width by 80" height.
Needs to be framed, drywalled, taped, painted.
2.
Addition to the closet also needs one standard door added.
which means cutting the drywall to fit a standard door.
3.
Ceiling needs to be finished, framing is completed, needs to be drywalled, taped, painted.
It is not a complete square so I have broken into 4 portions.
- 94.5" X 99.5"
- 30.75X 75.5"
-75" X 85"
- 60 X 36.5"
4.
Change current curved stairs to a platform. meaning of where it curves need a framed box created 40 by 40, also might need to add couple of stairs so its not steep going into the basement.
Reason for the platform, there was a side entrance taken out and need to be flat when entering, cant really walk onto curved staircase.
5.
Add insulated wall in garage, 112L X 127H
This would need to be a 2 by 6 framed wall, highly insulated from the cold deterring the wall, drywalled, taped and painted.
Please provide quotes seperately for each part, or an overall quote.
Also with start and finish time.
Warm Regards,
Harvey. T

Hello,
I hope all is well. I am inquiring for a notable contractor to finish my basement. Currently I am living in Brampton and would like to convert my basement into a second legal dwelling unit. The basement is approximately 1,100 square feet; it is untouched since this property was purchase from the builder which include an existing side entrance and a 3-piece roughing for a washroom. I am working with a budget between 50 to 60 thousand dollars and would like to have 3 bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room, 3-piece washroom and a family room. This home is approximately 15 years old.
Regards,
Sandra.
We are looking to build an in-law suite in our unfinished basement. It is roughly 1000 sq. ft of available space, and would require a 3pc. bathroom, bedroom, living area, kitchen, and laundry room to be finished for full use by our parents. There are two large windows that face the backyard that bring in a good amount of natural light. The home is multi-level and as such the ceiling height in the basement is 8ft in one half of the space, and 6.5 ft in the other half of the space. The house is approximately 10 years old, and located on a fairly quiet street.
House is 18 months old.
Detached Mattamy home.
Project of finishing the basement: Drywall, Flooring (laminate and berber carpet), ceiling.
What to build?
* One bedroom with 3pc washroom as an ensuite.
* One small room to be used as an office (berber carpet as flooring and french doors)
I would like to inquire about the cost of finishing a basement that is approx 900sq ft. Ideally we would like to construct a two bedroom apt, with small kitchen/living space and bathroom. We would like to do pot lights and laminate flooring. The house is approx 6 years old. Rough in for bathroom is already there.
Would like to finish our basement. One bedroom, one 3 pc bath, laundry/furnance room. The basement has already been framed. I will be doing the insulation. Drywall, ceiling, bathroom and flooring required. House is very small. Old post WWII cottage style. Basement size is approx 200 sq feet.
Basement partially framed and electrical partially completed. Would like someone to complete the ceiling framework and do electrical for pot lights. Need the bathroom pluming roughed in and shower area complete or at least roughed in. Small Kitchenette to be roughed in. Complete subfloor and laminate floor and stairs. Drywall walls & ceiling, hang doors and trim work to be done. 1 large closet to be built.
Townhouse is 1970 sq. ft. (8 years old). Basement is approximately 900 sq. ft. We are looking to get quotes to build a room (approx. 154 sq. ft) with most basic plans (drywall, sub-flooring), a small washroom and carpeting the stairs leading to the basement. Ideally, we would like to furnish entire basement with open concept but totally depends on the quotes and our budget.
Please provide three quotes:
1. for renovating room, bathroom and carpeting stairs only
2. room only
3. entire basement renovated
We have a 5-year old home in Brampton with an unfinished basement. We are looking at transforming it (approximately 650 sq.ft. of space) into a bedroom/kids playroom; and home theatre/bar; and washroom. There may be some challenges with some structural columns/plumbing in the way and central air ducting making some parts of the ceiling pretty low (whatever the case, it is a typical new home with an unfinished basement).
Look forward to your reply.
Marcus
