I have about 500sq of space. Would like to have a bedroom (9x14), a playroom (9x14), a tv room (10x16), and a washroom. The washroom is not roughed in, however not much digging into the concrete as the pipes are visible. Looking to have the stairs carpated, and the rest of the flooring laminate. Bathom will have a sink, toilet, and shower. Looking at getting this done in the next month or so. I stated my concern is price, but obviously quality goes without saying.
I am looking to have my basement renovated. The house is approx. 2000 sq ft and 10 years old. There has been no renovation done in the basement previously. I am looking to put a kitchen, living room, and a bedroom with 3 pc bathroom. Also, the work will involve moving the existing laundry area near to stairs in basement so that the occupants of the house above can access the laundry facility without entering the basement apartment.
I am only looking for a quote for labor, since I will supply all the materials and the contractor will just do the work.
Hi, I am located in Brampton and my project is to build a 2 bedroom basement suite in a completely unfinished basement with a rough-in. Would need to install a couple of extra windows for additional lighting, I think. Need a full 4 piece bathroom with bathtub and a kitchen with a stove and fridge. Would like to start as soon as possible in January once a contractor is selected. I am also interested in hearing about finance options if offered. My preference is to have the basement finish quality similar to the rest of the house but at a reasonable rate that is affordable. Sorry I am not sure of the square footage so would like to book appointments for estimates if possible.
I have a home with basement , but no separate enterence . Basement is insulated , already walls, and laminate floor so i need
1. Spearete Enterence
2. Complete Kitchen
3. Partion for Room
4. Extent Wasroom because i have wasroom but only toliet seat and sink but i need standing shower
Please give me estimate for project
i recently had a leak in my basement and ripped up the floor to repair it. There is some laminate and subfloor that must be removed.
I need the following:
- remove remaining subfloor and laminate (approx 40 sq feet)
- install subfloor and laminate to entire basement (approx 400 square feet)
- repair drywall where wet was removed (less than a sheet)
- replace baseboards
Basement renovation - adding a bedroom and bathroom. half the basement still needs wall panels and roof panels as the fiberglass is exposed. There is a living room and a kitchen already there. The house size is about 2700 square feet - the garage is inside the house as opposed to the garage that extends past the house. The basement has about 3 sections/room.
Basement renovation, approx. 600-700 sq.ft.. House is three years old and a rough-in for a bahtroom is already in place in the basement.
On top of a bathroom we would like to have a rec room and possibly another small bedroom along with leaving some room for storage. As the laundry room is already on the main floor, that is not an issue.
We are expecting our first child in early Feb. and (if possible) would like to have the job completed before then.
We have a small unfinished basement and would like to get it finished with one bedroom and a 3 piece bathroom with walk in shower. We just need a functional space not so fancy(budget is limited). We have idea what we wanted to be done, but we are open to suggestions. I'm unsure about the area in sq. ft. Still if you can provide your price per square feet, it will be great or you can visit the location.
Thanks!

we are looking to have a contracting job completed that was left incomplete by a previous contractor. Itis approximately 800 sq feet the basement has been framed drywalled and mudded. We require painting and the plumbing to be connected along with our drop ceiling completed. We are also looking to get a custom bar made as well.
I would like to get the whole basement done. From taking out the old panels from walls, opening open the bathroom, the kitchen is tiny (more like a bar) there's a fireplace which is no longer in use. The bedroom has a cold cellar which I would want to close off too. Whoever did the renovations for this basement before, you can tell it was a quick fix.
We are looking to renovate the basement of our 35 year old home. We already have a bar area with water that we would like to make into more of a kitchen and a large laundry room that we would like to modify to include a bathroom. The area has new laminate flooring that we would like to keep, but the walls are horrid plastic paneling so we would like to update that. There would need to be better light installed (perhaps pot lights?) as the area is quite dim. We don't need anything fancy, we just want a clean, functional, affordable job. Thanks!
Looking to convert my basement into open play area with either carpet or hardwood flooring. A 3 piece bathroom rough-in currently exists which needs to be converted into a washroom. Its a 2 year old home and the basement area is approx 700 sq ft. Please provide a quote which includes pricing and timeline to fully complete the project.
