I've got some mold in the Linoleum in my bathroom floor around the toilet. I'm interested in having:
1. Replacing approximately 2 square feet of bathroom floor, (around toilet rough in)
2. 10" Toilet rough in moved to 12.5"
3. Bathroom vinyl removed and new vinyl tiles installed.
Owner of house- toilet leaked in upstairs washroom (previous contractor) renovated last year. Work to be done - remove tile around toilet area, removed rotted/damaged subfloor, replace subfloor, re-tile and allow toilet to be reinstalled. Also repair damaged popcorn ceiling and wall from leak.
We are in the process of purchasing a townhome; the unit is about 35 year old.
During the home inspection, the inspector noticed there are signs of leakage in the kitchen originating from the bathroom upstairs.
The assumption is that a new bathroom drain assembly may be defective, tub and shower water line may have a leak behind the wall or it maybe also be the wax seal from the toilet bowl has ruptured.
The bathroom has laminated floor but is very uneven in certain area. We were also advised to replace the entire floor in the bathroom because the wood under the laminated floor has started to sag due to the water.
We have decided to go with a brand new tub and bathtub drain assembly along with redoing the tiling and plumbing.
The drywall on the roof of the kitchen right underneath the bathroom may also needs some attention as it shown was spots.
To sun it up, here is what we are looking for:
New tub installation including new tub drain assembly, tiling, new floors in the bathroom new drywall or drywall fixing in the kitchen under the bathroom.
We are looking for a quote because we have to renegociate our offer based on the cost of this repair, but with so many horror stories about contracting, we do not know who to turn to.
We are interested in obtaining a quote for a bathroom installation. Ideally we are looking at it being done in the basement, but we are open to alternative suggestions.
We currently have an ensuite and main bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms are and a powder room on the main floor.
We look forward to speaking to you more about this potential project.
Thank you.

Hello
We are planning on selling our home and need to renovate the bathroom before selling. Our goal is to get the bathroom in good enough condition to sell, we are not concerned with style and do we have vision in mind. We would just like to find the most inexpensive way to renovate or repair in order to sell in April/May.
I have attached photos in hopes that you can give me idea of which is the best route eg: tear down and renovate or repair whichever would be less costly. Could you also let me know approximate time frame that it would take you company to complete.
Pictures attached show that
* tile is cracking ( we have extra tiles)
* trim frame& silicone is needed around shower
* paint is peeling from walls and small amount of mold growing from condensation due to no fan ( we will not be installing a fan at this point)
* cabnet needs to be replaced/repaired as door is broken
Thanks for your help.
Leslie

That's all i can afford right now. My home is 30+ yrs old & more renovations (floors & basement reno)are required later this year (when i can refinance without penalty and have more time).
3 piece bathroom, everything needs replacing. Floor, drywall, sink, mirror etc. There was a burst pipe, water damage. The living room ceiling below also needs to be repaired as there is a hole in the ceiling due to the water damage. It is currently a stucco ceiling. I want it scraped and painted. The plumbing needs to be checked and repaired before the ceiling can be done. Also there is a wall in one of the bedroom closets that needs to be repaired as it was opened up to access the shower plumbing. Im not looking for anything fancy, probably a tub surround, not tiled, except for the floor. Id like that tiled.
Complete bathroom renovation, including the addition of a ceiling fan. The tub has recently been outfitted with a bathfitter tub, but the window in the shower, was not sealed in adequately, so I want to add that in. New vanity, lighting, medicine cabinet, toilet, flooring, ceiling fan, and painting.
Hi, We are looking for all new drywall, an exhaust fan installed, a tub/shower enclosure installed, new flooring, new vanity and mirror. Our existing toilet is new. Looking for mid-end June renovation date. Please provide an estimated time line as well. We only have one main bath and a half bath.
I am looking for nearly full bathroom reno including tiles on floor and tub, new tub toilet sinkvanity. I need drywall on ceiling and around tub. This house is 32 years old and there isn't a square wall to be had! The walls will be painted and all trim around doors and floors will be replaced with the towel bars etc replaced as well.
It in my books looks simple but I am not a contractor.
Your quotes are desired please
I want someone who is going to be tidy professional, presentable who has references and is not going to leave my family for a month without a bathroom.
I will be home during your renovations
Thank you
I am looking to convert an existing tub/shower combo into a curbless shower with linear drain and fixed glass panel (rather than door).
Also want to replace toilet and vanity and change floor from vinyl to tile (complete remodel).
Aiming for 12x24 or 24x24 porcelain tiles.
Total size of existing bathroom is 10'x5'8".
I have a washroom which does not have an exhaust fan.The washroom walls are wallpapered and there has been a buildup of black mold in some spots on the ceiling due to the fact that the moisture is not escaping during hot showers. The corner of one of the walls is pretty brittle as it seems to have been plastered over in the past.I would like an exhaust fan installed and the wallpaper stripped and the walls painted. The house in on Bartley Bull Parkway in brampton and was built in the late 60's.It is a side split house and the washromm is on the upper level and is complete with a window.I am not sure of the square footage however it is not a small powder room sized washroom and it is not a very large one either........TO CLARIFY*****I have stripped the paper from one of the walls already,it is clean behind the paper-no mold. The mold that is present is only on the ceiling and not the type of mold that causes health concerns-It is BLACK mold and I have read up on it.It is a cosmetic concern. So please stop telling me you recommend gutting the entire bathroom and ripping out the drywall etc...It is a simple remove wallpaper, paint and install vent job.THANK YOU.
I'm looking for someone to do a full renovation of my bathroom ASAP. I'm hoping to sell this home but a lot of work needs to be done first.
It's a small bathroom but it's in really bad shape. The tiles are moldy and falling apart, the tub is rusted, the linoleum floor is cracked and peeled. I'd like to replace pretty much everything in it.
