This bathroom has not been renovated since house built in 70's. Tub is standard 5 ft. Cannot go bigger (As we would like) as it goes from wall to wall. There are old ugly pink 3" tiles on walls around tub. I was thinking at least a deeper tub, and maybe surround around tub. Toliet needs replaced, as well as vanity. Bathroom is wide enough for tub. Very small.
We are planning on updating, but since room is so small, we are limited to what we can do.
Our laundry room is already torn apart to be remodeled in a bathroom. We have already purchased the tiles, grout and cement to install the tiles. Toilet seat is also selected. Standing shower, vanity and small closet need to be installed. Electric connection is already there and most of the plumbing work is already done.
Hello,
We have a partial bathroom renovation project.
We need help with:
- Installing a new alcove acrylic bathtub to replace the existing metal one
- Installing new cement board walls around the alcove
- Installing ceramic tiles on the cement board
- Upgrading bath hot/cold knobs with pressurized dial
- Replacing spiget, bathtub overflow cover and bath drain
- Raising the shower height of the shower head
- Investigating a slow drip we're hearing from the tub/wall
We are able to do the demolition ourselves:
- We will remove the existing tiles and walls down to the studs
- We will remove and dispose of the existing bathtub
We will also be doing the floors, toilet, vanity and painting ourselves.
We plan on supplying any parts needed (including grout and tile adhesive, unless otherwise advised).
We're looking for a contractor who is Insured to work on our property.
I live in an older home, over 55 yrs. old. Mould starting to form on ceiling, no ceiling fan in b/r. B/r size is approx. 9' x 7'. I need a fan installing, new drywall ( waterproof) around bathtub area, new vanity, lighting, remove top area above bathtub so condensation doesn't form on ceiling, new bathroom door & trim.

I have a walkway that I want to have redone at the front of my home.
I currently have a 2 piece bathroom in the basment, but want to add a 36"x36" stand up shower. 3 walls will need to be extended to accommodate the new shower stall. Please see attached.
The scope of the work includes:
- new drain,
- run new plumbing,
- drywall,
- toilet wax and
- flooring will need to be replaced with tiling
All materials can be purchased by me.
Location of job is in Brampton area and it is to commence second week of September (if possible).
Work to be completed in reasonable time. 2 weeks will be unreasonable.
The current size of the bathroom is 6'x5' (approx.) The renovated bathroom will be 7' x 6' (approx.)
Thank you,
Will
Hi, I'd like to renovate the following
6x9 master bedroom, full bath
6x8 full bath
6x3 powder room
I'd prefer materials that provide the best value, not looking for anything too fancy, but not looking for the cheapest bare bone fixtures. The full bath upstairs will need a new door jam, and it has a mouldy ceiling. The house is approximately 30 years old. I am not looking to expand or rearrange fixtures. I just want to gut and replace all fixtures, replace flooring, replace the tubs in the full bath, and replace all toilets.
Thanks.
Hoping you service the Brampton area, the nearest intersection is Mavis and Steeles.
Everything in our bathroom is almost 25 years old.
We need to:
1. change the vanity, countertops
2. place light fixtures in the walls
3. remove the divider wall between the toilet and sink
4. take out the tub and place shower there with new shower system
5. change the flooring - add tiles to the floor and maybe walls
6. make 2-3 decent size niche This list sums up the scope of this project.
7. need to change current exhaust fan
Please let me know when is the best time to visit the place and give us a quote. Thanks.
Noticed a water stain in the ceiling of my diningroom. Guess I have a leak in the plumbing of my bathtub/shower. I am looking into having the leak fixed, replacing the waterspout pipe, putting in new faucets etc, and then having the tub area (plus floor) re-tiled. Possibly looking into a new tub as well.
We are observing mold in our bathrooms.
We have 2 bathrooms on second floor. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a separate shower cabin and this is where the mold is visible on the tiles on the walls. We clean it often but its still keeps coming back.
Also, in the other bathroom the mold keeps coming back on the walls of the bath tub.
I talked to somebody and was told that the best option is to rip-off all the tiles, replace the walls of the bathroom and put the tiles back.
Let me know the quote to do the job for the shower cabin as well as the bath tub area explained above.
Our house is 10 years old.
Bathroom in the masterbedroom needs to be renovated. Item that need to be renovated are
-New tiles for shower enclosure ( 3 walls + ceiling)

Removal of bath tub, toilet, vanity and floor tiles and vanity with sink. Square footage 60sq feet. Installation of ready made vanity unit with countertop and sinks in one unit, toilet, bathtub, bathtub glass door, floor tiles 70 sq feet and wall tiles nearly 90 sq feet, baseboard cut from the tiles, installation of exhaust fan and replacing the existing lighting to a similar new one.
Current main bathroom requires complete renovation. The waste pipe rattles and needs to be secured, subfloor replaced and leveled. Replace sink / cabinet, taps, bathtub replacement, tiling of floor and inside tub/shower area, repainting. This is our only tub / shower in the house so it must be made functional within a couple of days. The whole job must be completed within two weeks. Budget prepared is $6,000 total.
We would like to have a new tub, shower doors, toilet, vanity and sink installed in our bathroom. We would also like to have the floor and tub surround area waterproofed and tiled with porcelain tile. We have chosen and purchased all of the fixtures and we have chosen but not yet purchased the porcelain tile. The bathroom is small, 5 feet by 8 feet plus the 30 inch tub. The house is about 35 years old and has had virtually no renovations done to it as of this date.
I have two bathroom that need makeovers to make them more energy efficient. As one is above the other, I would like to have them done one at a time. As one is in the basement and the other on the upper floor, the need to have one functioning to accommodate the needs of those living in the house is a necessity. The house was built in the late sixties with no renovations that I know of. Also, although I can see some insulation in part of the basement, I do not know if there is insulation in the bathrooms. The areas are approximately 8' by 5' and 7' by 7'.
Materials needed are unknown. Although the newer more energy efficient and eco-friendly are wanted, cost is an important factor as my budget is fairly small.
We need to replace our old toilet, tub and vanity. We have purchased all the components and need to remove old dry wall and update with new. It is a small bathroom approximately 5' x 12' and is the main bathroom for the house. We will need a little electrical work as we were looking to have a fan and one light installed. The house is approximately 30 years old.
We would love to have this completed asap.
Remove and dispose all old. Supply and install: New 5 Foot soaker tub, pressure balanced tap,10x13 wall tiles, 13x13 floor tiles (35 sq feet) new baseboard, 6L toilet, 36" vanity with drawers in dark color, granite countertop with white undermount sink, wide spread taps. Install my light and mirror. Please send estamite and how long it will take (Approx.) Thank you (Brampton)

We are looking to renovate our bathroom on the second floor of our house. We just purchased our house July 08. The bathroom is less than 150 square feet. We are looking to replace vanity, sink, toilet, bathtub and wall surround, fan and accessories. The previous owners had a leaky toilet which needs replacing. There is floor damage and ceiling damage to the kitchen as well that needs to be replaced. The house is approximately 18 years old.
We are considering a small renovation of our en-suite bathroom. It would not be a total renovation but more the removal of our standard bath tub and replace it with a shower (which would ideally take up the same space as the bath rub it's replacing, it's fit wall to wall).
Floor to ceiling tiling will also be required unless the shower is a complete system with walls included. If this falls withing our budget of approximately $1500 then we may consider removal of the sink (and built in unit) and install a smaller sink with unit.
Our house is 10 years old, the en-suite bathroom is fairly standard size, aprox. 7 ft x 7ft. There has been no previous work done and there are no obvious concerns. We are flexible on when may like the work done and our budget is approximate.
If anyone can do this within our budget or close to it then we look forward to hearing from you.
