Hi. I would like to add a standing shower stall to an existing powder room on main level which will extend in attached garage. The basement is unfinished so that plumbing can be done with free access to the drain work and would also need a rimless glass shower door. Please note that the shower will be tile and not base when estimating and will need one led par 20 potlight inside and proper insulation on the exterior as well.
I do require some framing work and drywall construction inside on mainfloor will discuss once I get a contact.
Hi there,
I have a separate shower/bathtub in my house, and I want to re-do the shower. It's not much larger than 1 square meter and has tiles everywhere except ceiling.
When I bought the house, the tiles had a lot of mold, and when I investigated the issue, there was a lot of mold below the marble piece underneath the door. I removed the tiles myself, cleaned it all (it was pretty bad) and re-tiled again. Note: it was contained in the shower pan.
However, I wasn't able to fix the leaking shower/lower faucet, and it keeps leaking, therefore mold is starting to accummulate again. Now the tiles are too nasty to think about only fixing the leak. Since the leak problem has to be fixed, I want to take the time to re-do the tiles and put a new door (thinking about thick glass - blindex - doors - currently those plastic doors).

We have come to the time when we need to renovate our two main bathrooms in our 18 year old home. Each is a three piece washroom, one ensuite, one family bathroom.
Family bath: We would like to remove the tub and install a stand alone shower, remove the floor tile and install heated flooring under the new flooring. Remove all towel and toilet paper roll holders, repair drywall and prep for finishing. I would also like to consider replacing the bathroom window at this time.
Ensuite: Remove a large corner soaker tub and tile, and replace with a stand alone tub and replace the flooring, installing heated flooring after. Gut and enlarge the single stall shower. Retain vanity and sink, moving over a few inches right, when the corner tub is removed. Install new toilet. Remove mirror, towel and toilet paper holders, repair drywall and prep for finishing.
Painting and other finish to be discussed.
Summer Awning/Shelter: Install a permanent approx 22 x 13 awning. This should be constructed of a substance that can weather constant summer sun and heat, shingled or tiled to match the house, and install bug curtains, or create a curtain rail system that we can install bug curtains.
Need General Contractor/Skilled Handyman for dry walling, plumbing
A water leak from upstairs was discovered and repaired, but has damaged the bulkhead and drywall. (See pictures) Black mould has been removed but would prefer mould + water damaged wood in bulkhead to be replaced. Some damaged drywall around window frame still needs to be removed.
Also house came with plumbing lines running to the sink through an exterior wall (see picture). It's been miraculous the plumbing lines haven't frozen which is why we're adding this repair to the list; reroute plumbing, patch drywall, install new sink and facet supplied by owners.
In addition, this bathroom doesn't have a fan. Install a fan. The former owners thought cutting a hole in the ceiling and putting a plastic vent in was a good idea (see picture). It is a dumb idea, and we would like it removed as there is a perfectly good heating vent in the floor.
Dimensions= 4'3" (along bulkhead) X 4'7"
Hi,
Last year we added a 3 peice washroom in our basement. Within a few months of using the washroom we noticed water was escaping the shower stall through the floor tiles. I'm hoping to re-tile shower stall and ensure their is no leaks in the pipes. The washroom itself is very small, perhaps a little larger then a powder room. I'm located in Brampton.
Please call me to discuss further.

Developed a hairline crack in the Mirolin 42"x42" square acrylic shower base (drain in the centre) on first floor. A fellow offered to retile over the wall and wall tiles, and the over the base. After he left, found the strainer 2" off the centre with no shower drain under it. The floor has a 2x2" mosaic over the original acrylic base. I am scared to turn the water on as it will sure flow away from the centre. The wall/floor interface grout has also huge cracks. Would like to either have a new acrylic base or tiles installed properly (only on the shower floor), and a proper shower drain installed!
We have a small bathroom (5' x 9') on the second floor. It is stuck in the 1980s. It has a tub, toilet, and a sink with a cabinet. The flooring is black and white peel and stick tile Basically want it all replaced and updated. Not looking to do anything radical (it is currently the only bathroom in the house). Would like to maybe include heated flooring and a vent. Currently we just use the window.

Here is some info about the house:
Built in 1997 (15 years old)
Problem: Shower in the second floor is leaking to the first floor, leaks are difficult to find and after careful determination I found the origin of the leak: It looks like the shower floor in the bathroom is showing its age or was not well built, I have a leak around the shower drain that is going directly to the first floor. It made some damage to the ceiling draiwall so this is my project:
1. Replace / fix the shower pan and make it water proof (tile and grout are not waterproof)
2. Re-tile the shower floor
3. Once I verified the leak is gone , repair ceiling drywall on the first floor
Some Information about the shower:
Measures:
Area 3'X3' ( 1 square meter )
Tile used: Ceramic 3"X3" tiles ( 7.62x7.62 cm)
Request
I need a professional specialized in bathroom renovation in order to start the repair, some plumbing skills may be necessary if there are problems with the drain although I did not see any. Complete shower renovation may fall beyond budget and I better consider a whole bathroom renovation when I have the budget to do it.

Hello,
Looking for a contractor to install a bathroom double vanity (I have already a single vanity installed, so you are going to need to do some pluming work to be able to have the double vanity working properly), relocate light fixture + power outlet in the bathroom and open a small area in the stairway wall.
Please let me know when you can pass by. I would like to get an estimate asap.
Flexible hours on weekends and after 6pm on week days.
Thank you
We need to have the following removed and replaced: tub, tiles, faucet, sliding tub doors, walls behind tub and floor under tub. We had water damage in our bathroom and even though water got underneath our tub, the insurance company refused to replace. We aren't certain the walls & floors will need to be done but want to have included in the estimate. We don't need our entire bathroom redone. Just the above.
I would like to try and split a bathroom into two bathrooms. The manner in which the bathroom is set up, the vanity/sink is on one side and the toliet and bath tub is on the other side. The tub and the toleit is close off by a door. What i would like to do is split install a shower, sink and toliet where the current vanity area is. i have the supplies in place i need a plumer and perhaps an electrician to install a fan in the vanity area. really all i need is the labour portion of this project to be done. this house is only 1 years old. i need some one creative to perhaps come up with a plan that will help maximize the limited space. So what i really need is for some one to set up a drain for a toliet, a fan to be installed and some idea for either building a custom shower area.
