I have old carpet in my town house that need to be replaced. There are 24 stairs, 1 room at lower level (12'x10') and a small hallway (5'x2'). I am looking for durable carpet (preferably Berber).
Need quotation for Material+Installation+Removal of old carpets
Budget: $600-$800
Time Frame: ASAP
Pictures of the room and stairs attached.
I'd like the upstairs of my home, including the stairs to be re-carpeted.
The area is 920 sq. feet. I'm looking for a plush, 55-70ounce carpet which is a light off white colour
I would require removal and disposal of the older carpet.
I want new underlay as well, 6lb preferably.
If the carpet is a softback, that's a plus as the walls are freshly painted and I don't want to scratch them.
Hi there,
We are looking to install carpet on our stairs. There are 3 sets of stairs with 6 steps each for a total of 18 steps. The first set has wall on one side and railing on the other, the second set has railings on either side, and the third set has wall on either side. We are interested in either a berber carpet or plush carpet in dark grey or black.
We would like quotes for installation only and quotes for installation and material (carpet, underpad, etc) if available.
Thanks.
Room is approximately 11 ft x 9 ft with a cross section cut out for firelplace. There are 6 steps leading up the the main level that would also have to be replaced.
I am looking for somebody who can provide a quote on supply of carpet, underlay, installation of new carpet and removal & disposal of old carpet.
Home is a 35 years old backsplit in Brampton, but this room is not on basement level, so there would be wood below the existing carpet.
We have 3 sets of 6 stairs for a total of 18 steps. One set of stairs has a wall on one side and railing on the other. The next set has railings on both sides and the third set has walls on either side. We would prefer someone who can supply both the underpadding and the carpet and any other supplies needed. We have carpeting now and therefore already have the nail strips. We are looking for a dark (preferably black) carpet where the pile is not too high and would last a long time, as we have a dog.
I am looking for an experianced and insured hardwood and stair installation specialist with excellent references to install Hardwood in 1000 sq ft fllor inthe main floor and 2 nd floor hall way, install premium carpet in 4 bedrooms and complete installation of 15 steps stairs and railings.
If you have the credentials and are serious, please contact me with your estimate and to book appointment to see the house.
Thanks,
Fasil
I am looking for someone to install carpet in my basement and on the stairway to the basement.
The old carpet and padding has been removed.
I already have carpet that i want to install.
I need to buy underpadding from the contractor or i can buy myself.
The boxed in type stairway has 4 steps down to a small landing ( 3' x 3.5' ) and then 8 steps down to the basement.
The two rooms in the basement are aproximately 450 sqft.
I need to have my basement stairs carpeted. They are plain builder's stairs right now with treads and risers. There are 11 steps and a landing. It's not straight. There are 5 steps, 2 Triangular steps- landing, then 4 more steps. I haven't purchased the carpet yet because I don't know how much to get. The project would entail measuring of area, installation of underpad and carpet.
We have a 14 step semi winding stair case that needs new carpet. Since this is a high traffic area, we will need a durable carpet that will survive constant traffic. The railings will have to be removed for the installation and not all the steps are the same size ( winding stair case)
the hallway on top of the stair/front of the bedrooms needs to be replaced as well.
There was a flood in the condo unit two floors above ours. Our vinyl kitchen floor is now buckled and cracked.
The original handyman who put in the vinyl tiles first laid down a thin wood subfloor because he felt the existing tile floor wasn't even. I'm not sure whether this is really required. So the job consists of laying down new vinyl tiles and possibly a subfloor, if required.
It's not a tough job but I would prefer a professional rather than do it myself. The job may include possibly also replacing baseboards in kitchen and part of dining room.
The kitchen is 4.13m by 2.32 m.
I have a vinyl kitchen floor with 230 sft. Need to replace the existing vinyl with new self stick vinayl tiles. I will provide the self stick vinyl tiles and need followings from the contractor:
1) Per SFT or Total cost of installing self stick vinyl tiles and removing of existing vinalys. (if grout is used then cost to be included with that)
2) 1/4 round for 35 linear SFT. Installation and material cost.
3) Removal of one Freedge and one stove.
Only seriuos contractors are requested to submit their quote for this project. I don't need quotation from Perfect Painter, Yara Ent, Young Flooring & Carpet, Intrigue Design Co, Brist Homes.
I live in Brampton, and contractors who will be contated are required to come and physically see the kitchen and submit the final quotation for the work.
Regards,
Roney

Live in a condo - plumbing in mechancial room above my unit let loose and experienced "raining" via my light fixture in ceiling of my bathroom which damaged the mirrored doors to my medicine cabinet and flooded carpet and underlay in hallway outside of bathroom. Just wondering what would be recommended in terms of repairs to drywall, carpet to prevent future mould issues etc. Not sure of water path to the carpet - perhaps under tiles in bathroom as some of them seem waterlogged. Plumber cut two large square holes in ceiling - condo will re-drywall those.
Would appreciate an indication if possible from this description as to proper repairs as condo management has advised "contents" is owner's responsibility despite flood being a building issue???
