We need to install a simple deck in the backyard. Please let us know what specifications you require to provide a quote.
Update:
Height from door is 20"
Patio size 14' x 14' = 196 sq ft
Material = pressure treated wood
Please see photo of current space as well as what we are hoping to install.
Last year we had an outside deck built off of our kitchen. Our basement is a walkout so the deck is roughly 9 feet off the ground. The original contractor put in 4 posts in each corner, however there is no reinforcing beam/post that lies underneath and across the structure in the middle as as a reinforcement. As a result, the deck sways and does not feel secure when our family is on it. Seeking a reliable contractor who is able to complete the job in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price. Please provide quotes and time frame for completion with your response.
Thank you in advance,
Camille
I have an existing 12 x 6 deck that I would like to replace in composite with an aluminum railing. It is about 4 feet tall with 4 steps. Ideally I would like the work completed before May 2021. I am the home owner and would like someone who has experience working with composite decking. The existing base appears to be sound and one side is anchored to my house and has 2 steel poles, but if it requires replacing will do so to accommodate the composite requirements.
I need a builder for a 16' x 10' screened-in deck. I have the drawings and the permit. The builder will need to procure the parts and build the deck and screen room (with clear acrylic roof) while ensuring the required inspection points in the permit are met. If you would like to quote on this please EMAIL me for the drawings and permit requirements. EMAIL is preferred for all correspondence.
Looking for the following:
Deck: 12 x 16 (less than 24 inch off ground). 2 Steps on 2 sides of the deck including railing with steel rails.
Shed floor: Wooden floor - 11 x 10 (off ground less than 24 inch) with railing on one side.
Concrete - extend on both sides of the driveway and slab in the backyard. Total Square Feet: 440.
Please submit estimated pricing.
We just bought our first house and our backyard needs some work. Part one of our plan includes:
1. Restoring the deck. It's a hideous colour and a few of the boards need to be replaced. Also, its two tier and the side rails on the second tier need to be raised. They were installed way too short..(lknee height).
2. Our side fences which are in the same condition as the deck.
3. There was no back fence built so we will need to add that in.
All I want to do is to put a screen or vinyl or glass ( which is best) to enclose the porch. This is a bungalow, no front stairs, but to keep the leaves out, the snow out and as we walk out of the house now, there is a door to the garage, that we lock all the time on the immediate left. I'd like to enclose the alcove, and just to see what that entails I would think an 8 ft, frame, with a 6 foot screen and/or vertical sliding windows
Hello,
I would like to extend my porch. The picture attached shows my house (3 yrs old) at the time of building. I would like to extend a porch outwards from the front door, and around the front of the house.
Please send me an estimate of how much a job like this would cost and if I need to provide any other details.
Thank you
Duoaud

the deck will be about 1-1 1/2 from ground level
if you could provide a quote along with a sample pic of a deck you have completed for the price quoted it will greatly help me budget and hire a contractor.
Thanks.
The size is 1.8m x 3.6m with the thickness of 1'-2" form the surface/ground, with one STEP. It's a Conrete with tiles all around with railing. The condition is ...it is very old porch so the tiles is tearing apart especially on the side with the concrete. We would like to rebuild it to anew concrete porch.
Looking for quotes to add a front porch to two story house in brampton.
Currently has standard narrow concrete step which is now making it difficult of seniors to use the front door to exit house as they now use walkers and wheelchairs.
I am not sure of the size we want, we are looking for recommendations as well as pricing.
I don't believe there is enough room to add a wheelchair ramp due to code.
I am considering adding a front porch to my home, and remove interlock bricks from driveway and pave, also, level along the side of the building and pave with a slope away from the building so that rain and melting snow runs away from the building.
My home is a detached raised bungalo, around thirty five years old located in Brampton.
Peter.
Hello
Concrete is coming loose on the bottom corner of my front porch stairs adjoining the guardrail making the guardrail wobbly. I'll need a quote for labour and materials to see if it fits into my budget. The project is not urgent but the earlier the fix the better. I live in Brampton on Bovaird / Mclaughlin.
Thanks
Basile
The driveway has about 200 sq feet of interlocking left to do, all the prep work has been done, just need to lay down the stones. I already have the stones.
The deck- old deck needs to be removed, except for the joists, and a new composite deck to be layed down. You will have to remove the floor boards, railings, spindles, and put the composite boards down( they are cliped together). The square footage of the deck is L-194.5", W-87" = 118 sq feet. I will purchase all the materials.
At the front of the house there is about 50 square feet of bricks that need to be replaced and they are under the concreate pad Stairs to the front door of the home. The bricks have crumbled due to weather and the home was built around 1975. Behind the bricks there is 12 inch block that the concreate stairs rests on , they seem to be fine just the brick work needs to be done. Some of the concreate also needs repair.
We would like to add an elevated deck in our backyard over our current deck with access to the main bedroom on the upper floor.
The scope of work would be:
- Add an elevated deck with minimal impact on current lower deck area
- Replace current window facing the backyard in our main bedroom (on 1st floor) with a door to access the deck
- We dont have a specification for the area of the elevated deck - expect it to be a decent sized balcony to accommodate at least two chairs and a table
- We would like to also understand the additional cost to add a roof over the balcony/deck area
I have added a pic of the backyard. The window on the upper floor is the one we plan to replace with a door to access the elevated deck.
I would like to get lower deck constructed of approx. 300 sq ft in my back yard

Should be closed from all side
