The pressure treated wood side fences on my property lines are falling apart due to the harsh winters and on one side, due to a neighbour with a raised garden pressed up against one of the side fences.
I would like quotations to either repair or rebuild the fences. If rebuild, I would like quotations based on different materials and fence styles. If the cost to rebuild is agreeable, I may want a new fence built across the rear of the property as well.
I currently rent and looking for prices for my landlord to fix a gate on my fence that broke from the wind two days ago. It would be approximately 3 feet wide by 6 feet tall. May be a bit wider. Gate is currently made with 1/2 inch slats about 4 inches wide. The hinges were weak to begin with from age and poor choice for that style of gate. The latch was not reliable as well. You would have to be very deliberate in closing it or it would bounce open.
We just bought our first house and our backyard needs some work. Part one of our plan includes:
1. Restoring the deck. It's a hideous colour and a few of the boards need to be replaced. Also, its two tier and the side rails on the second tier need to be raised. They were installed way too short..(lknee height).
2. Our side fences which are in the same condition as the deck.
3. There was no back fence built so we will need to add that in.
Six feet high wood fence, nothing fancy, just basic fence, one door, about 115 feet in length, I could be wrong, will provide property survey. I will take possession on July 30 and would like to get it installed that week. The house is in Brampton ON.
With winter storms, side fence has dislodged and needs to be re-assembled. Only one section involved and lattice may have to be replaced.
Side wood door into back yard has completely fallen apart and needs new wood and connections.
Would be prepared to pay for materials and pay labour to person contracted
May not start until first week June. We are tenants and may pay for the work
My neighbors and I are looking to get fencing in our backyard done. Looking for quotes immediately. Here are some of the details I would like to share with everyone. If you are contacting me it is because you have read the below information and you meet the pricing requirements and can verify your work:
Linear ft: TBD
We all would also like to purchase gates as well
We have already had a few contractors come out and prices we are receiving range from $22.00 per linear ft to $26.00 per linear ft .
My neighbors and I would like to be as close to $23.00 per linear ft as possible. Please only contact me if you are interested in this business based on my price range and the information provided above.
I'm in a new development of houses, and myself and approximately 10 neighbours are looking for quotes on fences. We all just want the backyard done (not side of house). The length of each side of fence is approximately 90' long, and there will be no back side of the fence (it hits a concrete wall). We will all also need a gate. We're looking for standard wood fencing.
It would be helpful to know cost per linear square foot, as well as any other price breakdown information. Additionally, would like to know if you provide free on site estimates, as we all have varying lengths of backyard.
We need to replace a few sections of fencing in our backyard and are looking to get a price for someone to come in and remove the old 4x4 fence posts (we will remove the panels) and re-dig the post holes to a minimum of 48 inches deep. The machine used must do little damage to the lawn as this will be impacting our neighbours on either side of our property.
My neighbours and I (about 10 homes) are looking for a company to install a fence for our homes. The following are some of our requirements:
- 6 foot high privacy fence
- 6" by 6" post
- at least 4 feet into the ground
- cedar or composite material.
We are located in Brampton by Eldorado Park. Please provide an approximately cost and any other details that may be relevant.
I was wondering how much it would cost to have my fence repaired. I needs a few boards to be replaced, and new gateway, and cleaning & staining...
I would like a quote a.s.a.p. Please email me at your earliest convenience
My house is 10 years old, fence is about 250-275 linear feet
We have an old wooden fence that finally needs some repair work done. A section of about 12-16 feet, has recently fallen down. Two of the posts have broken at the ground level and need to be removed and replaced. Then the section of fence that would be held up by both of these posts needs to be either put back up or replaced. Whichever is more efficient. Some work on the gate may also be required.
Hello, I am looking to have a fence rebuilt that separates my property from my neighbour's. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, I would need to have someone come by to give me a quote. The current fence is built out of wood and does not seem to be salvageable.
I have a fence that is leaning:
The gate doesn't close because the fence is not level
It is not supported properly as the larger portion of the fence opens up to a car port
The fence is not secured to the house
I also required a fence with a gate in the back yard to create a dog run.
I need a contractor to come out and build the remainder of the fence on one side of my property
The fence is approx 40 ft long, I need to match the current look of fencing my builder provided to me.
the material appears to be cedar.
See picture attached, need to have this done ASAP.
Brampton location (Castlemore - Gardenbrooke trail).
I am looking to have a fence installed in my backyard. It looks like only one of my neighbours agrees to share the cost - the other 2 want nothing to do with it so I am looking to build on my land and am seeking a good affordable price for a private wood fence. I was considering purchasing the material and having someone come in and install it. Any suggestions or price quotes would be appreciated. Measurements are 29 feet on one side where the gate will go, 22 feet across the back, and 27 on the other side. Seeing as it is on my property we would probably have to take a foot off on all sides. It is a semi detached home (the side that is attached neighbour does not agree). We are lookinmg at 11 posts in all.
Need someone to build fences for about 20 new homes in west end of Brampton. Contractor who lined up jobs last summer is no longer building fences. We didn't build last year because the the lots were not certified yet, but all owners were ready to build. Lots are now certified and ready to go. All you need to do is knock on the doors, provide quotes, and build before the winter.
I am looking for a quote for my landlord and neighbour. We are looking at placing a privacy fence in between our properties and repairing the pathway to make it safer for both tenants living in the back yard.
We are also looking at resurfacing the drive way. currently a 1 vehicle need to make it a two vehicle.
City has come to mark the property already.
Remove existing fence that is currently falling apart. Remove old posts and replace with new post with concrete. Currently only 1 side of the yard does not have a fence. Would like a fence installed on all sides of my backyard.
Install new 6' privacy fence. Sorry not sure of the size but when all installed we calculated approx 18 panels including a new gate.
repairs to one section of wooden fence and gate to be attached...main post needs to be secured into ground, some pieces of wood around decorative trelace to be replaced, trelace is intact, gate intact but needs to be put back on hinges..damage occured due to landscape machinery passing through to backyard
4 posts are broken at the ground level and the fence is ready to fall over. I have angle irons holing up the fence at the moment. I think 5 new posts would be needed, and 2x4. I have fairly new fence boards on the current fence that could be saved and reused. It is about 6 feet height. I have a pool and my next door neighbour has 3 small children.
