Hi,
We are in the process of buying a new garage door (8x7 insulated, no windows) and new garage door opener. We would need our old garage door and opener removed and discarded. We are installing a sectioned or paneled garage door, but currently have an old swing-out one, therefore, new tracks would need to be installed. We also need extensions installed (our garage ceiling is high), which we would provide. We would need an estimate, and if any are favourable, we would then like an in-home estimate.

Hi,
Although I have no major renovations currently (possibly in future) I need some small maintenance work like faucet replacement, fixing of door locks and garage doors. Appreciate if you take up such jobs and if so how the charges would be.
Regards,
Joy
PS. I am planning to do the flooring for upstairs and also get a room built in the Basement which will be in August. May be you could check it out when you come for the estimate.
I currently have a garage door opener for my garage door. It stopped working some time ago.
I want a manual garage door lock/handle installed in it's place. On the outside of the garage, there is no garage door handle, so you would have to install that. You will leave the garage door opener in it's place (there is no need to remove that). I've simply dislodged the hooking mechanism from the chain, so the garage door is able to open & close manually.
When the job is complete, I should be able to open the garage from the outside only with a key, and from the inside (without the key).
Considering the low cost of the hardware (I've researched it), I am willing to pay $200 for this job (parts & labor). If you are ok with this price, please contact me. If not, don't bother wasting your time or mine with "there are other parts needed for this job...." yada yada yada.
The $200 price is firm.
