We are planning on renovating our home which was built in 1951. We are looking at adding an addition of a garage with a family room above it. The size we are thinking is about 16 by 25. We also want to renovate our kitchen and open up the main floor (open concept). We then would like to change the upstairs layout which is 4 bedrooms, into 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
We are planning for 2013 sometime around august to november but are flexible. We want the job done right and are going to look into references and get multiple quotes. We are planning a large reno and would like to work with a trustworthy company that takes pride in their work. If this sounds like a job you may be interested in we would like to hear from you and maybe get a quote.
Thank you for reading this.
I am looking for a contractor taking full responsibility in doing everything for small fast food restautant from scratch. Right now the property is empty. Three sinks, stove and vent hood and counters need to be installed. Some electrical work is required. Painting and some drywalling has to be done.
Please contact me if you are capable of doing this at reasonable cost for first time starter.
God Bless!
The project that I had mind is as follows:
We currently have a 4 bedroom home. Our plan is as follows:
Upper Unit - Our plan is to convert the upper unit of the home into a mini residence for students for a nearby college. Currently there is 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a hallway. Our vision is to turn this into 4 moderately sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one kitchen/living/dining room and a small room for laundry.
Main Floor - Currenlty, there is currently a living room, dining room, kitchen, large foyer. There is also a garage. Our vision for this is to turn the main floor into a 2 bedroom + den apartment by removing the stairwell, and by changing the 2 car garage into living space.
We currently have a finished basement, but we would need to do some work to align it with existing codes.
We would also like to turn the attic into a studio apartment.
Let me know if this is something that you have had experience doing.
I would like to convert Cold room into Laundry area.
So I need drywall my cold cellar and convert it to a laundry room. Plumbing, drains, electrical, and dryer vent will not be an issue, it's all been taken care of.
The room is large enough for a washer, dryer and standard laundry tub.
I am concerned about humidity issues.
Water drips in winter times from ceiling.
Hi Manny
We have a finished basement with a cold room and need to convert that to regular storage room by merging into nearby storage space. Also, we are looking to see if we can convert one area into a regular bedroom.
We would like to get some pricing etc and would be great if you could provide one for us.
Would be fantastic to be in touch
I have a huge bedroom (21'x13') to be converted into two rooms on second floor. The newly created hallway will need electrical done to install lights.
I would also like to remove rug throughout floor and install approx 800 sq ft of engineered hardwood.
Please provide your best estimated quote.
Thank you,
Jasmin
Hi,
I have an area in my sewing shop in Brampton that I would like to turn into a back room:
-The space is 10' x 12'.
-The area has two walls currently, therefore only 2 walls need to be built. One is 10' and one is 12'. The 10' wall will have the door for the room entrance.
-I would also like a closet added to the area that is being framed, including a regular door for the closet.
-The whole room will have to be painted, including doors, and vinyl baseboards (no ceilings)
-Please include baseboards for the new walls in your quote, how long it will take to complete, when services can be completed, and total price for the project.
- The building is 30 years old.
Should you require any further information please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your time,
Sonya

Hello,
I have recently moved into a newly built 3400 sq. ft home and and looking to decorate - which will include the need for a general contractor. The selected contractor will be my partner for multiple projects over the next 2 years starting with the family room.
I have an immediate need for a general contractor with the following experience:
- Laying 12" x 24" Porcelain Wall Tiles For The Fireplace - approximate square footage for the fireplace is approximately 6' x 9' (the wall extends out beyond the main wall by 8") Wall tiles will be provided to cover this surface. Contractor will be required to provide remaining tools/materials (ie. measuring tape, chaulk line, square, grout, tile cutter, etc.)
- Install Pot Lights With Dimmer Switches - Will need to install approximately 15 ceiling pot lights with dimmer switches
- Custom Wall Extension - Will need to build a frame and overlay with drywall to make flush with the fireplace (contractor to provide studs, nails, drywall, finishing materials) approximate square footage (9.5' x 5')
- "Inset" over the fireplace to make plasma tv flush with the wall with all wires fished to hide electronics in concealed cabinent.
If the work is satisfactory, future work will include other work around the home:
- Full finished basement
- Installation of other pot lights around the home
- Custom cabinetry
- Painting
Please note, I will only respond to those who provide, at a minimum (given the information provided):

- Estimated total cost for materials (above and beyond those provided by me (ie. tiles) stated above)
- When you would be available
Thank you

Hi, I have a 2 year old house, but I am looking to have a 210 gallon aquarium on main floor with joist running parallel. Maybe putting steel beam under it or some other way, the aquarium footprint will be 12 sq feet and overall weight when fully done would be close to 4000 lbs. Can afford to have supports done inside the wall (space for 3 piece washroom under it so the walls can hide the supports)
