Hello,
The layout of my kitchen is 11 x 9. On one 9ft wall I have a 72 inch patio door at one end on the other 9 ft wall I have an opening which leaves only 63.5" of useable wall space. I would like to have the hookup for the stove and water re-located.
The stove is currenly situated in the corner on the 11ft wall by the patio door. This would be the new location for the fridge. The sink and dishwasher is currently situation in the middle of the 11 ft wall. I would like to have the stove located where the sink is and move the sink to the corner where the 11 ft wall joins the 63.5" wall (along with the dishwasher). The basement has a drop celing providing access. The 63.5 " wall is connected to a powder room.
I would be interested in the cost of this change.
Kitchen in a 40+ year old Brampton side split needs to be enlarged and modernized. Presently it is 13' by 9.5' with an L-shaped design with a window over the double sink. Would like to expand kitchen into the adjoining dining room which is also 13' by 9.5', this requires the removal of a non-load bearing wall ( approx 7' long). The final kitchen/eating area should have laminate flooring throughout and continued into front hallway (5' by 20' approx). Would like to add a centre island with seating and storage, a wall of pantry cupboards, and new granite countertop (or similar poduct). Would need new double sink and faucet. New dark wood cupboards throughout, and painting of walls a neutral colour. Finally, would like to add a walkout from eating area to the backyard using a 5' patio door which would replace the existing dining room window. All in all it's a basic kitchen reno with no extra plumbing or electrical required just some demolition and reconfiguring of the existing space. Kitchen will have the existing fridge, electric stove, microwave and dishwasher. Thank you
We will be removing a weight-bearing wall dividing dining room and kitchen - installing a bar and an island; new flooring in dining room area, removing existing capets, tiling in kitchen area, new cabinetry, and built-in cabinet in dining room area in existing recess in wall.
Quality, appearance and cost are important factors.
I want to renovate my kitchen, but also preserve my cabinetry if possible.
So it would include, removing an old cook top, cutting the existing cabinets to fit a stove.
Removing an old built in oven and replacing with cabinets. Replace existing counters with new counter top. Also replace back splash.
Scope of Work:
1. Demolition of existing kitchen cabinets, countertops and removal of existing appliances
We plan to move the stove & fridge to the garage while disposing the old dishwasher. All old appliances are in good condition.
2. Install new kitchen hood with wall duct to exterior wall + Cover the gap in the current walls
3. Any drywall work associated with cabinet disposal and installation
4. Disposal of all debris after renovation
10.5ft x 7.5ft galary kitchen, 33 yr townhouse.
I am looking to renovate my kitchen: new cabinets and counter top, new backsplash and tiles, new appliances (fridge, slide-in range, dishwasher, wall hood), sink. Also considering potlights (will require wiring). Location of range and sink is not to change, but will require piping/plumbing for dishwasher. Flooring is laminate and will NOT change (possibility of some additional planks which I have).
I can take down all the cabinets and countertop/sink, hood, etc. I am willing to also assemble the new cabinets. I am considering Ikea cabinets, but may change.
I am looking to start in 4-6 weeks.
My name is Francis

My townhome is located in Brampton
Sorry if i didnt provide all the details but i am not familiar with jargon or all the parts needed. Please advise if you require any additional information about the project.

I am looking to get my Kitchen renovated ASAP!
Scope:
Remove old vinyl and hard tile flooring in kitchen, repair and level kitchen subfloor, remove parquet flooring from dining room area Install new engineered hardwood flooring in kitchen through to diningroom which has already been purchased.
Remove all cabinetry and install new. to be built or ordered.
Move oven electrical, open up 1 wall.
I need this done quickly, as I am being transferred out of country for work and need to have the reno complete before Jan.
I am trying to remove what appears to be a load bearing wall to open up the kitchen to the dining area. Work would involve redoing the load-bearing beam to cover the span (~8'), relocating 2 plumbing lines (hot and cold water lines to the upstairs bathroom), relocating two outlets and adding one light switch and two light fixture boxes.
Additionally, I am planning on installing a dishwasher, gas cooktop and wall oven. There is some plumbing and electrical work required in order to relocate the sink and provide electricity for the oven and dishwasher. (2 new lines being run). Note that I have aluminum wiring and a fuse box, not circuit breakers, in my home.

We live in a semidetached house about 50 years old and want to update our kitchen. The existing kitchen is separated from the living and dining room by a bearing wall that we want removed and either have completely open concept or have 1 or 2 supports in its place. Could involve removal of other small wall segments to open the space. Very important to find dependable and qualified company to do this.
There is a good access to both the underside of the kitchen (crawl space) or to the atick above (only roof if there).
We haven't finalized the supplier and installer of the kitchen cabinets but have general idea how the space would look. For argument's sake there would be 35 linear feet of kitchen cabinetry. Island will be installed. New appliances will be installed.
The additional work would involve removal and disposal of existing kitchen, hardwood floor installation in the kitchen and hallway (matching the existing hardwood in the living/dining room), installation of steps/railing leading to the basement, drywal kitchen and ceiling as required, electrical and plumbing work as required, hood exhaust install, installation of lights in the area, painting, etc.
If I have forgotten something please let me know.
Medium sized kitchen in Brampton with lots of room to walk around but less counter space. Have a large pantry area and would like to add more counter space and add a peninsula. Work required listed below in order of priority:
1. Add more counter space and add a peninsula
2. Reface cabinets
Dimensions:
- Existing counter space: 8' with a cutout for sink 2'5"
- Required peninsula with counter-top: Approx 6'
Requirements in a few months-
- Finish basement
- Renovate master bedroom en-suite bathroom & extend closet space
Our main goals for this project are:
1. Change cabinets and install new IKEA cabinets
2. Move stove from current position to the wall facing the front street.
3. Move Fridge to a new position for convenient access. However we are okay with it remaining where it now as well if the cost is too high or if there is no convenient location to move it to.
4. Update the kitchen sink area to a kitchen island with sink and dishwasher integrated to minimize plumbing
5. Change flooring from current Slate to ceramic
We have a kitchen that is about 30 years old. We want to update the cabinets either by refinishing, replacing doors or replacing entire cabinet. We want to move the fridge over and add an over the stove microwave / fan. The countertop needs to be changed (preferably stone) and a backsplash added. We are looking to add undercabinet lighting and redrywall the ceiling over the kitchen prep area. We were considering a gut of the kitchen but now believe that a makeover is a better option as this will not be a long term residence for us. The kitchen prep area is approx 200 sq ft.
We are in Brampton - Heart Lake/ Mayfield area.

Moving into a brand new house in Brampton and looking to get Half Marble/Half Glass Backsplash in my Kitchen. I can buy the tiles from Home Depot myself too if need be. Total area is 54 sq ft.
Also looking to do Valence Lighting (Under cabinet lights) and Crown Moulding Lighting (Lights on top of cabinets). Approx. 24 linear ft of lighting is required (12 ft. for crown moulding and 12 for valence). Obviously, electrical wiring for power to the lights is also required.
Need to do some plumbing work too, more specifically, Waterline for Fridge (take it up from basement), and installation of the dishwasher.
Need to get this done preferably on 25th-27th May 2012. Alternate schedules can be discussed.
Thanks,
GC
