Hello,
I have a bathroom that needs tiling. It has been completely gutted. Waterproof drywall and plumbing is done. The drain is in and the cement base has been laid. I need tile work done. I have 24x24 tiles for the bathroom floor. 12x24 for the shower walls and marble mosaic tiling for the stand up shower floor. The bench and niche have also been created and those would need to be tiled too. I have the tile for it.
Literally just need someone RELIABLE to come and lay down the tiles. I will have all the materials ready for arrival.
Images attached of what it currently looks like. Shutter closes. Standing shower behind it. sorry for the confusion.
Bathroom size is 6x8.
Shower on left back wall.
Please let me know if you are able to do this within my range. Trying to keep my maximum budget around $700 max.
I'm doing a full bathroom and kitchen reno and will be using tiles throughout. Bathroom is 9' x 5.5' and kitchen is approx. 16' x 8'.
Scope of work for kitchen is:
- tile floors (no heating)
- backsplash along sink wall and stove wall using probably mosaic tile (approx. 2' x 16' plus some additional above sink area)
Scope of work for the bathroom is:
- tile full shower wall including niche - there will be a 4-5" strip of mosaic about shoulder high
- tile bathroom floor using Ditra (no heating, Ditra supplied by me)
- on the vanity wall, tile the wall 4' high for the full length of the wall ('half wall high')
- tile vanity backsplash using probably mosaic tile
- tile baseboards, 4" high
I will provide all materials. If you have any product recommendations or prefer to use certain products let me know.
Please provide a quote for the bathroom by itself, and also a quote for a combined bath+kitchen job.
I need approximately 225 sq.ft. of ceramic tile demo'd from my kitchen, hallway, and dining room. I have ripped a few up myself and it looks like the tiles were secured to a wire mesh with mortar directly over the plywood subfloor. The mesh seems to be coming up nicely from the subfloor, but with the tools I have (or don't have to be more specific) this job would take forever.
I don't need to tiles to be hauled away, but I would like them to be placed in something than can be hauled away at a later date.
I would also like 1/2" plywood to be installed over the existing subfloor once the tiles have been removed. I may decide to do this task myself, so please give me two quotes: one for the tile removal, and one for tile removal + laying the subfloor.
Feel free to ask any questions if further clarification or details are needed.
Thanks,
Sean

I have installed the kitchen backsplash myself 2 yrs ago. I would need some help with to give it a finishing look at the edge where the backsplash is exposed (meets the wall) only at one side about 10 ". it needs a trim or molding, also needs the electrical sockets to get into their places (need to get new sockets). Please provide me your estimates.
We are looking to update the backsplash in our kitchen, having just moved in we decided we would be upgrading to a granite counter top which has been installed and are now looking to change the backsplash. Having given it a try ourselves the removal of the old tile is proving more then we can take on with our busy schedules. We are looking to have some come in and remove the existing ceramic tile and replace with a mosaic glass tile we have selected already. Kitchen is updated 3 years ago, home is built in 1969.
I would like to do a backsplash in my Kitchen. There is not one presently, so no need to replace. I have a smaller kitchen (town house) but two kitchen walls.
Please advise if I have to purchase the tiles myself. Just looking for quotes at this time - price range.
Thanks for your assistance.
I recently installed a quartz countertop in my home and wish to have the backsplash replaced with a similar material (or similar looking material) of approximate colour.
A thin material that goes over the existing tiles may do the job, though the electrical receptacles may need to be adjusted a bit outwards.
Thanks
Yateesh
Hi,
We've gutted our kitchen and are looking for a contractor to instal our flooring - tiles. We have gutted down to the boards, and just need someone to come in to lay down the appropriate mesh, cement, and then put down the tile afterwards. The area is approximately 25 ft x 12 ft. The site is ready for installation, we just need the right contractor!
THANKS!
Hi! I am looking to remove about 120 sq ft of tiles in my kitchen (cooking area + dining area), and replace it with a different tile (rectangular shape).
My time frame is flexible.
Estimates and samples of work are welcomed.
I am located at Hwy 50 and Hwy 7 (Border of Brampton and Vaughan).
Would like to do this work between now and February 2019.
Take out the old tiles and install new and durable tiles on the main floor. Install new, possibly granite, counter top. Also, looking to do other renovation if package deal possible. The kitchen and bathroom area is roughly 450sq./ft.
My main concern is the tiles so please make sure you leave a quote regarding that.
Need a contractor to install about 600 sq ft of laminate and 60 sq ft of tile on the main floor of my house. I currently have parquet in the living and dining room and vinyl in the foyer and kitchen. I've already purchase the laminate and tile, just need a contractor to do the installation.
My home is approximatley 9 years old. I am replacing my kitchen and front foyer tile with 18x18 marble tile which I have already purchased. I would like a quote on installation. I am going to be removing the old tile and counters myself so as to have the floors fully accessable. From my calculations, I have approximatley 370 square feet of floor which neeed to be covered.
