We currently live in a 80-100 year old home, and want to expand to our backyard. We would be looking to do a 1 story addition, adding a great room to the main level off the kitchen. We would be looking to move out about 20 feet and the full width of the house. I am looking for estimates but ready to go on the project as soon as drawings are complete. We have a roofer and will finish the room ourselves - mainly need the footings, framing, tie in to house, and siding. Have a team for windows, floors, drywall, tile, etc.
We have an addition off the back of our home about 30 years old. It has a crawl space underneath, very little insulation and no HVAC. The room is about 25.5 by 10.5 feet. We would like to add a second story to this room (either the full size of the room or above just a portion of the room) and update the existing room.
Looking for a rough estimate on a second storey addition above existing garage for master bedroom, 5pc ensuite and walk in closet. Including plumbing, electrical & HVAC (approx. 25x16). Access would be from current second story - no new stairs required.
Home is 1800 sq ft - second level currently has siding, bottom level has brick. Looking to replace with 3' of new stone around base, additional siding for entire home and new roof.
Would also be interested in adjusting front roof line by adding add 1-3 gables/ possibly extending porch.
Please contact with any quotes or additional questions.
