we are remodeling our kitchen.there is a wall seperating the back entrance and the kitchen . This wall is being riped out. the stairs leading down to the back door need to be move up to make the floor level. Also the back door is going to be need to move up and become level with the floor. There is also a room going into the dinning room that is moving over and being made smaller. there is also electricity work to be done. The wiring it the old style and need to be replaced and wiring to be moved. there is also some plumbing. we also would like our floor replace with ceramic tile.
We recently had a fire and it resulted in the upper kitchen cabinets coming down. The work we need to be done is as follows:
1) replace vent from microwave
2) re-install existing upper cabinets
3) re-install microwave
There is no damage to the existing cabinets so all we need is someone to come in and put them back up.
Thanks,

We are looking for Kitchen Renovation. The home is a traditional side split with the wall between the kitchen and living room, we would like to remove this wall. There is a structural post in the corner, we would like to keep this and tie into an island. There is no venting in the wall being removed. The kitchen is a small 10 x 10'size. We have a quote on cabinetry from ikea but are open to custom. Appliances will be supplied. We are demo ing the kitchen to the studs therefore the work would include tiling, relocating electrical and plumbing into the island for dishwasher, cabinetry install, back splash install, drywall paint and finish, and install/refit (there are already 4 in the kitchen).
We are using a Purchase Plus Improvements Mortgage so the job would need to be arranged with the majority of the amount due at after completion. We take possession of the house early July so we will need quote ASAP.
The room is approx 220 square feet
I would like slate tiles, wood cabinets, granite counter top, tiled backsplash, copper sink.
I will be changing the layout of the kitchen to an L shape. Curently, my kitchen is divided to accommodate for an eat in area, but I want to remove the sink and counter which divide the room and put against the wall to form the L shape. No walls need to be put up or demolished.
The house is approx 11 years old.
1. Demolition of existing cabinets, counter top, backsplash, bulkhead (partially customer does).
2. Rewire to Install 4 pot lights.
3. Put new wires for under cabinet lights - 3 places, new switch.
4. Re-rout water pipes in bulkhead.
5. Install new drywall and patch it.
6. Paint drywall (customer does).
7. Under counter plumbing (customer does).
I am looking for a contractor to bid on a main level renovation consisting of a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and flooring throughout the main level. Please see attached scope document, layout drawing and pictures for more information.
For timeline we were hoping to have this work completed between July and December 2022, but we are flexible.
We do not have a layout decided on yet for the kitchen. We were thinking of moving some things around and possibly adding an island somewhere between the existing sink and fridge location but I am not sure if the space allows. Could use some design input.
I have a 30 year old townhouse that requires a kitchen reno. Id like to tear out the existing kitchen and replace everything. It is a small kitchen 11" by 8'. Im planning on selling the home this spring and planning the reno to increase the value with a new kitchen. Definately not looking for mid-high end reno as this is strictly being done for resale.
Details - replace cabinets, countertops, lay down ceramic tile flooring, backsplash and add a dishwasher and small island (4'x2' - cost permitting).
As a cost saving measure, im also willing to do the demo on the existing kitchen.
50 yr old bungalow with a small galley kitchen. Would like to open it up to the dining room. Wall that seperates the kitchen and dining room houses the stove and fridge. Would also like to change the dining room window to french doors.
Would like a simple, but classic, clean look to our kitchen.
Also thinking of changing the back half of our garage into a mudroom that would enter our house. This is not a priority right now, but would like to know if it is possible to do.
Thanks,
