I'm looking to get my backyard done this spring. Im looking to get a pool liner done, and landscaping including side entrance to be either lay stones or have it interlocked and a big area in the back to be interlocked or stoned as well. I believe i have about 800sqf of area that would need the stone work done.
A section of a basement wall is taking in water at the base. A fairly sizable amount of water comes in during rain. I would like to have this repaired from inside if at all possible, but if not, please advise. The first picture below shows the current leak area. The second picture shows a different leak patched from the inside a few years ago. This should be inspected for leaking as well, as it may also be taking in water.
Please reply with an estimate to repair, and the earliest time to complete. (Form responses without bid amounts usually ignored.)
We're looking to have slate patio stone installed in our ~330sf patio area. Area exists the mudroom and contained between the house and garage and is a trapezoid of ~330sf. Please see attached pictures.
Area needs to be graded, levelled and compacted with crushed stone / sand, or concrete..? finished with polymeric sand. The area has open access at the side of the house (> 5' width).
We have a supplier for the natural patio stone (1" thick slate). we need someone to take care or the rest. The curved edge we would like finished with edging stone.
Please include how soon you could potentially start as this will be a deciding factor. Thanks!
Burlington back yard, city lot, not sure of measurements approx 30 x 40. I have been unable to keep up the yard for a couple of years so I need someone to help with moving a few things and making it as maintenance free as possible, also looking for ideas. I had a dog for 11 years so I need a new lawn.
We need a retaining wall built. It is a very large project and will require heavy machinery. Only qualified and experienced Contractors with retaining wall experience need apply. Looking at doing large stone like Armour, Rosetta, Landmark, or other cost effective material. The project is roughly 150-175 ft long at a maximum height of 7 or 8 ft. It will need a railing installed along the driveway as well and fencing in the backyard. Also need a couple of very large tree stumps removed in the process. Engineers drawing are needed as well. I am open to suggestions but need it to be strong and durable for a long time. Neighbours driveway is at the bottom of the wall so drainage is important as well. Might be wise to do a two tiered wall as attached in the photo.
The grass is bare. Would like interlock for pathway and new look for the porch/entryway. Excavate existing garden and grass and replace with large rocks and perennial plants. The ground is clay so not much grows. Property is a freehold town home. Additional jobs if you are able: reseal driveway, section of rear fencing with gate to be installed - paint all fencing.
Remove existing patio stones and retaining wall and dispose of materials. Supply and install new retaining wall and patio stones maintaining integrity of the garden bed as much as possible. Patio stone area approximately 225 sq feet.
Retaining wall 42 feet on front side and 24 feet needed on backside. Height 6” approx.
Budget approx $5000-7000 taxes in
We have a large stone waterfall that has water spilling out the sides and not going back into the pool. We are in need of advice/repairs to redirect the water back into the pool.
we also have some landscaping that we would like quoted (removing trees too large, replacing fence, replacing cedar hedging, etc) The landscaping can be done in the fall as we are not in a hurry with that project.
We are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and am interested in getting pricing and timing related to general sprucing up of the front and backyard. Not being gardeners ourselves has led to a somewhat unorganized look - we are looking to improve the curb appeal some.
We are looking to move quite quickly on this as we have already bought another house and now need to get ours on the market as soon as possible! - while the weather is still nice.
We are located in Burlington.
