7 Year old townhouse has mostly aluminum siding, painting required for single garage, window trims, front porch railing, front door - 2 paint colours needed, light taupe & dark grey (door & garage). Had it painted about 3 yrs ago by student painters - price was $400. On a tight budget now, but paint is starting to peel and looks very bad so we need it painted before winter for a good price - not a big job.

Prior to move in, we would like the following work completed by September 22nd 2014. Contractors quoting MUST be able to complete by the requested Sept 22nd date.
- Tear out of carpet on upstairs (bedroom level).
- Installation of engineered flooring on same level.
- There is a banister/railing that needs to be worked around for the flooring.
- We will entertain either full replacement of banister/railing/spindles (i.e. complete stairs) and installation of wood stairs where existing carpet is, and/or re-use of existing banister.
- (Wooden stairs installation - treads, risers, stringers etc. where carpet exists).
- Paint (entire house) approximately 1900-2000 square foot in size.
** Does not have to be a single contractor, if any of the job requirements fit within your expertise please contact us. We recognize there may be multiple contractors - flooring, painting etc.
Thank you.
Our house needs an exterior makeover.. currently an ugly duckling.. we would like to give it some curb appeal and are looking for some professional input. We are considering painting the siding and/or brick and adding a portico to the front, maybe update the landscaping in front. At the back of the house, the windows are still good and functioning, however we would like to get the vinyl trim around the windows painted, as they don't all match.
Repainting of one main bedroom wall (see attached images) and corner, as well as one Livingroom wall with supplied Hunter Douglas paint. New paint is identical to color of existing paint. Second part of the project is repair / repainting of small areas in bathroom where white paint has begun to peel. No water damage or drywall issues observable.
White paint not supplied for ceiling, however brand new Hunter Douglas paint supplied for bedroom and living areas.
- 1300 sq ft townhouse
- Looking to have the main floor and upstairs painted, including walls, doors, trims and baseboards.
- This includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living/dining room, front entrance hallway (double height ceiling) and upstairs hallway.
- House will be empty prior to move-in so no furniture to move around.
- Ideal date for painting would be September 9th
We are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and am interested in getting pricing and timing related to painting a hallway, kitchen and 2 bedrooms.
We are looking to move quite quickly on this as we have already bought another house and now need to get ours on the market as soon as possible!
We are located in Burlington.
Thanks,
Stuart
We are in need of someone to paint our house next week. The painter we had scheduled suddenly increased their quote by 25% today and we have now passed on their services. If you are available to paint approx 2400 sq ft from June 5 to 8 (And a few days the following week if needed) im Burlington, please let me know. Serious inquiries only. Thank you.
Hi, I am looking for someone to paint hallway upstairs and downstairs, powder room, master bedroom and ensuite and another bathroom. I had a quote from another painting company but getting the run around with regard to a start time. The painting needs to be completed within the next two weeks. Thanks.
We are starting to prepare to put our house on the market - and in order to get the best sale price, we are looking to have some work done as follows:
1) Laminate Flooring Install in the Living Room, 1 Hallway, 2 Stair Landings (the stairs themselves will remain carpeted), 3 Bedrooms - all of these areas currently have carpet with plywood underneath - Total is approx. 900-1000 square feet
2) Tile Backsplash in the Kitchen (currently nothing there ie. no tiles to be removed)
3) Painting - the house is pretty open concept so almost the entire house will need to be painted, Approx. 1500 square feet
Note we would prefer to get the flooring, tiles, and paint ourselves
Timeline is negotiable, but the sooner the better
Willing to set up meetings/estimates for all projects, or just one depending on area of specialty.
Depending on timing and pricing, we may also have the kitchen countertop and bathroom vanity replaced as well.
I would like to get the main living area (includes the kitchen) repainted and re-trimmed in my condo. This is mainly to change the colour scheme of things to something more neutral. The aproximate dimensions are 30' by 16'.
The kitchen cabinets are white and the countertops are a green colour with a bit of blue in them. I would like to have the walls painted in a colour to match this scheme but I'm not sure exactly what colour yet. Off white yes, but how off white? Or maybe you have some other suggestions; I'd like to keep it relatively neutral though. The white cabinets are trimmed with a light pine wood grain so I think having trim and baseboard of this colour would look nice.
My condo is on the 4th floor of a 4 storey building, so the ceiling is vaulted and is 12' 10" high on one side (one reason why I don't want to do it myself). The carpet is a dingy green which I would also like to get replaced to match the paint, depending on the cost. I may divide this project into two parts a few months apart if the cost is too high; especially since the carpet also extends into both bedrooms, not just the main living area. It may be less complicated to just do the painting for now.
See the pictures attached.
We have a small spare bedroom (approximately 150-200 sq/f) that we want to turn into a nursery before our baby's arrival at the beginning of July. The house is fairly old - in the 50-year range, I think.
The room currently has carpet, which we'll want removed and replaced with laminate or hardwood (we'll procure the flooring). The walls and ceiling will need to be painted, plus we want to wallpaper one wall. The attic access is in that room, so we'd like that hatch to be sealed up as best as it can be (while still leaving it able to be opened). We'd also like the walls and floor of the closet to be painted and possibly for the closet to be refinished or lined with cedar - something to eliminate the gaps at the corners caused by the house having settled over time. The baseboards will also need painting and possibly replacing.
We are moving out of our current home which requires a repair to the kitchen ceiling drywall where there was a leak. It is a 12"x 12" square that has been repaired but very badly. The kitchen ceiling will have to be repainted. It is about 12'x15' ceiling space that will need to be painted. Also require a window replacement on our second floor. The window is about 4x1 and is cracked.
Our new house which we get the keys for on March 27th is a 20 year old house that requires paint in every room, hallway, etc., ceramic tiles put in the second bathroom (10x4) linolium in there currently, and the front door jam repaired. These are the immediate things required. We have other jobs in mind as well but hope to have the above done before move in on April 21st.
Hopefully, we will be looking for some exterior painting once the nicer weather comes and some other outdoor repairs. I just can't get anyone to respond to my phone calls, voice mails, etc. Thanks.
Paint hallway and ceiling from main floor up stairway to second floor including second floor landing and second floor hallway. The ceiling is quite high from main floor up to second floor - approximately 12 feet but this is an estimate. This work is time sensitive and must be completed by July 10 because carpet is being installed on July 12. Very experienced and reputable painters need only apply. We need the job done quickly but professionally.
I would like to get quotes on painting my loft. The walls are in great shape, and it's currently off-white throughout, so you won't be painting over dark colours. I'm looking at a taupe for the walls and white for trim (not actually trim, its a 2x2 portion at the top of the wall that contains the venting system. It runs the length of one side of the loft). The walls are about 14 feet high in the living room / kitchen combo. The room is about 18 X 24 ft. One wall is almost totally covered by windows (approx 10x12 ft window). A small staircase leads to the loft bedroom which is about 10 X 10, and just over 6 ft tall. One wall is taken up by mirrored closets. I'm hoping to get the job done soon. I have picked potential colours but am willing to let the contractor purchase the paint if they get it at a contractor discount.
We are looking for someone to paint the exterior of our house. We have a combination of brick and alum siding. The brick is white. The siding is moss green. We have selected 2 shades of grey to paint the house. At the same time i think it would make sense to paint the window frames.
The house was built in 1967 and is in great condition.
Hi! I just purchased a condo in north burlington which is about 1300 square feet. I am looking for the price to do a complete paint job for all rooms; ceiling, walls, base boards and doors. All rooms will be painted the same colour (beige). I take possession of the condo August 1 and would like painting to start ASAP so I can move in as soon as it is all done (the condo will be completely empty during painting so there is no need to move or cover furniture). While I cannot have someone come to the condo to give me a quote as I do not live there yet, I do have a copy of the builders floor plan with dimensions and many photos of the place which I will gladly email. There are no major holes in the walls, only a couple nail holes and some cracks from the building settling over the years. The Living room has aprox. 20 foot tall ceilings with the loft looking over it (all other ceilings are average height). All ceilings are textured. The building is about 5 years old and I do not believe it had been painted in that time -all walls are currently €œbuilder beige€.
I would like to know 1) the price 2) how long you think this job would take 3) if it is possible to start Saturday August 2 (it is a civic long weekend).
I am best contacted by email and look forward to hearing from you - Mary
We need the entire basement and main floor / stairs to upstairs painted. I have attached pictures for visual reference. The dimensions are 17.6 x 7 ft for the living room, 11.4 x 7 ft for the dinning room (the rooms are combined), 18 x 15 ft for the basement and the hallway to upstairs I would say is about 10 x 7 ft (approx). There is also 2 bedrooms (10 x 10) that need to be painted, but the other floors are priority. This is a time sensitive task, has to be completed by July 30, and we get possesion on July 15.
