Hi! I just purchased a condo in north burlington which is about 1300 square feet. I am looking for the price to do a complete paint job for all rooms; ceiling, walls, base boards and doors. All rooms will be painted the same colour (beige). I take possession of the condo August 1 and would like painting to start ASAP so I can move in as soon as it is all done (the condo will be completely empty during painting so there is no need to move or cover furniture). While I cannot have someone come to the condo to give me a quote as I do not live there yet, I do have a copy of the builders floor plan with dimensions and many photos of the place which I will gladly email. There are no major holes in the walls, only a couple nail holes and some cracks from the building settling over the years. The Living room has aprox. 20 foot tall ceilings with the loft looking over it (all other ceilings are average height). All ceilings are textured. The building is about 5 years old and I do not believe it had been painted in that time -all walls are currently €œbuilder beige€.
I would like to know 1) the price 2) how long you think this job would take 3) if it is possible to start Saturday August 2 (it is a civic long weekend).
I am best contacted by email and look forward to hearing from you - Mary
We need the entire basement and main floor / stairs to upstairs painted. I have attached pictures for visual reference. The dimensions are 17.6 x 7 ft for the living room, 11.4 x 7 ft for the dinning room (the rooms are combined), 18 x 15 ft for the basement and the hallway to upstairs I would say is about 10 x 7 ft (approx). There is also 2 bedrooms (10 x 10) that need to be painted, but the other floors are priority. This is a time sensitive task, has to be completed by July 30, and we get possesion on July 15.
The house is approximately 1550 square feet (bungalow). The Window trim, Baseboards, Crown Moulding and doors require a clean up coat and the walls need 2 coats of a new colour (not dark). The rooms are as follows:
Living Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
3 Bedrooms
Hallway
Den
Bathroom (Touch up with existing colour)
House is 1200 ft2 layout. Painting is entire main floor, stairway, upstairs hall plus 1 master bedroom (no ensuite, but incl. closet). Upstairs 2 bed + bathroom no need.
I will do prep + prime of of holes and divots. Not planning on removing baseboards of main floor, but will be doing upstairs as carpet replace same time. Please call if you wish to discuss.
Beige on top of old beige.
I need a quote for painting a 3 bedroom apartment. I take possession on July 1st and don't have access until then so you will not be able to see the walls, etc. I know it's difficult to give a 100% accurate estimate without seeing the condition of the walls; however, I need to establish a budget so an approximate estimate is okay. I have attached a floor plan so you can see the sizes and layout of each room.
Here are the requirements (Current colour is builder's beige):
Living area including dining room, front hallway & 2 closet doors, and hallway leading to bedrooms : steel wool grey
Kitchen: TBD
Bathroom: Dark red with grey ceiling
Bedroom (including closet door but not the inside of the closet): mossy gold
Master suite (including walkin closet): Eggplant (or similar colour)
Ensuite: lighter shade of bedroom
Extras: Dining room end wall will have a 4x6' inset painted in mossy gold (background for some wall art)
Laundry/Storage: No painting required
I will supply paint (Benjamin Moore Aura) and will need to know how much of each colour is required
Trim, doors, and baseboards do NOT require painting.
The apartment will be empty so you will not have to move furniture.
I would like the painting to start on Tuesday July 4th so I can schedule movers for Sat July 8th.
Thanks in advance,
Mr. Robertson
We have a large foyer/hall and upstairs hall that has a plaster knockdown faux finish that we are not too thrilled with. We would like the entire hall area painted, and possible the plaster smoothed out to a flat finish. We tried sanding it -- did not work. will likely need skim coat. If cost or time to remove/skim coat plaster too much we will consider just painting entire area. Ideally we would like painting done before Christmas. Total SF is approx 1200sf
I am moving into a new home and gain possession mid-May. I need the entire (or majority) of the interior of the house painted, including trim, doors and ceiling. I am property owner. Living Room 16x 13.3, Dining Room 14.8 x10, Kitchen 9.6 x 9.4, Master Bedroom 16.3 x13.4 Bedroom 12.1 x10.1. Also includes a small bathroom. I have no sense of cost, so if I've estimated wrong, please let me know.
We are moving to a condo. in Burlington. We would like to have the unit completely painted before moving in mid September. It is a 2 bedroom plus den, 2 bath with open concept kitchen, living and dining room (1400 square feet) and we would like all ceilings, walls, doors and trim painted. Please advise if you are available and we could arrange for a quote.
I am looking for quotes on painting the whole outside of my house. The house is covered with fiber cement board shingles and aluminum trim. We would like a dark grey paint with white trim.
All of the windows on the house will be replaced in a month or so therefore the window trim for 12 windows will not have to be painted.
Right now we are not sure if we should actually replace the dark brown aluminum trim or just paint over them. This is also a question for the soffit, fascia and eavestrough (also dark brown)...replace with white aluminum or paint them over...if painting over aluminum is an option?
The dimensions of the house are:
17 feet across
45 feet deep
17 feet high
Thank you. Looking forward to getting some quotes for this job.
Corner unit townhouse, 1,850 sq feet (excluding basement). 3 bedrooms. 9 years old.
1. Painting of the entire house. (Ceilings, walls, doors)
2. Removing old carpet and installing a new carpet on the second floor (approximately 900 sq feet) and stairs 3. Extending existing finished basement wall by about 3 meters to the unfinished area.
Hi we had a small leak and we ripped a big chunk of our basement ceiling up to find it. It's now fixed but the drywall needs to be repaired and look like nothing ever happened, asap please.
Then we are interested in quotes on painting our entire house including kitchen cabinets (sanded and sprayed properly) and stairs.
Thank you,
Wendy
Hallway leading upstairs requires painting.
Two walls in particular and ceiling in one area are approx. 16ft high
Downstairs and Upstairs hallway could be painted at the same time, based on price
Wall paper, border and railing has been removed
All other prepping to be done (fill holes, sand)
Doors and trim to also be painted.
I came home the other night to a hole about 10 inches by 3 inches in my drywall on my support beam in my kitchen. We had the moisture checked and the water seamed to only be in the beam and not the wall. I would like a quote to replace the drywall.
Also, I have a staircase that we starting painting and staining that never got finished so would love a quote and maybe finishing that off and painting the foyer as well. I can send pictures to give an idea of the jobs I need done.
I need it done ASAP.
We live in north Burlington.
I would like to renovate the modest master bathroom in my condo. Right now it is just painted and trimmed with vinyl flooring; it is 7' 7" x 4' 10" not including the area taken up by the tub. The condo is about 12yrs old.
At minimum I would like the have the vinyl removed and the floor tiled. Depending on cost and looks, I would also think about tiling the walls up to countertop level (I think I prefer this), or to the ceiling, and *perhaps* even replacing the fiberglass tub enclosure with a regular tub and tiled walls. I'd like a new modern light fixture above the sink and maybe have the sink replaced with something more modern also. I would like to keep the current white cupboards and sort-of-taupe marble patterned laminated countertop if at all possible.
One problem is in choosing a colour scheme that goes with the cabinets and countertop, which you can see in the posted photos. Recommendations and sample photos of your previous jobs would be welcome.
In addition to this, I would also like to get my condo balcony tiled. Right now it is just bare concrete with a wooden railing. The owner of the condo below mine has had their balcony tiled and it looks very nice. I was thinking something in a light-coloured, moderately rough slate (non-slippery) would look nice. The balcony is 12' 3" x 6'
Looking to get some interior painting done in a small townhouse, about 1200 sq ft. Need majority of the walls painted (no ceilings):
- kitchen
- powder room
- living/dining room
- main floor hallway
- basement stairs
- stairway (with tall ceiling)
- upstairs hallway
- two bedrooms
We want to paint all walls the same light neutral grey colour and the kitchen and powder room will be white.
We're also looking for the work to be done as soon as possible so that we can put the house up for sale.
If you're interested, please feel free to email me back or call me to discuss a quote.
Thanks in advance for your time.
-Molly
