We are looking for a drywall and ceiling specialist to smoothen out the walls and stucco ceiling of our semi-detached home in Cambridge, ON (about 1000 sq-ft across two floors) that we just purchased. We would like that to be done soon before we move in. The dry walls were done by the previous owner who was just a DIYer and did a bad job, so we are looking for a professional to fix them up. The ceiling is stucco currently, and we are interested in having them smoothened out as well if the price is reasonable. Would like a quote ASAP. Thank you.
We have a 450-500 sq ft kitchen/family room which we are currently renovating. Walls and ceilings require painting and we would like the ceiling to have imperfections (tape lines, patches) removed and the ceiling skimmed for a perfectly flat surface.
Looking for a price for priming, painting all surfaces and for skimming the ceiling. We will supply materials.
I have just built a garage that is 28 x 36 with 12' walls. It also has a 10/12 pitch steel roof (see attached image).
Included is:

6' wide x 8' high man doors
6 windows
I would like a price on:
1. Insulating/vapor barrier the outside envelope (walls and ceiling) - R28 Celiling / R20 Walls - 24" stud centres
2. Sheeting walls with either select plywood or 12" pine shiplap
3. Best idea on cost effective ceiling covering
Please no estimates after September 15th.
Thanks
Jeff

Our house is approx 40 years old. We have an open floor plan on the main floor but the problem is the ceiling. There are currently 2 different ceiling coverages, one is popcorn ceiling and in the kitchen area it is a smooth ceiling. I would like to get an estimate on costs to change the whole ceiling to one type. I prefer the smooth ceiling. It is approx 500 sq ft. Please reply to this email if interested.
Thank You
Beth and John
Hi I just moved in my house and the owners before me removed the popcorn ceiling in the upstairs hallway, stairwell and one bedroom. They didn't smooth out the ceiling very well. I need someone to smooth out the ceiling better than they did. Depending on the price I have two other bedrooms that still have the popcorn ceiling and I might be interested in removing that also. Right now my prime concern is smoothing the ceiling that the popcorn has already been removed from.
